Panic Attack! (2009)
7/10
Neat little film with a bizarre backstory
20 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Directed by the Uruguay director Fede Álvarez, this short film essentially just portrays an attack on a city by giant killer robots. That's about it, it's clever stuff and very flashy especially impressive since it had a budget of less than 500 pounds. The bizarre backstory is that after widespread coverage on the news Álvarez was offered a $30 million Hollywood deal to direct a full-length film, which is quite a good deal after all.

7/10: Very short, rating would be more accurate if it was full length. Intense and exciting for what it is, a successful piece of art.
