Loved this show in grade 9! There was a lot of talent on the New Show, guesses, skits and stupidity. The intro was like an infomercial and the guest does a comic routine which follows skits. Memorable guess where Dave Thomas and John Candy of S C T V claims. I remember the Dave Thomas skit with the job interview which was so evil and the guy was going get the job. John Candy Twilight Zonets I'm Jimmy Carter and in an alien zoo was so memorable. Candy made my buddy Tony laugh so hard. The scary family with the hair bit was classic, with the zooming camera. The show had a following, but regrettably the network did not give The New Show a time to develop a following like S C T V. 8 stars a script writers dream show.
