It's cute and Christmassy, and Ms Argyris is fun to watch, but if you can't see the ending coming a mile away you really haven't seen many of these Lifetime/Hallmark movies. The wide landscape shots are cool, but you know, I really couldn't tell what city this was supposed to be.
Maybe I'm burning out with bingeing this year, but I was more intrigued with the actors who play the "best friends" - they all have great teeth and say the wisest things. Nothing wrong with that, a gig's a gig.
Some plot points seem like convenient throwaways (are we supposed to care about David the financier? Or his grandson?), but I guess the bottom line is there are worse ways to spend eighty-eight minutes. Maybe I should try making my own Christmas ornaments.
