Watched this movie blind without knowing it was from one of my favorite directors and it made things worst.
First of all, acting is just bad. Dialogues doesn't help either and it's not like fun bad like I would expect from Takashi. It's not just there.
Second, the monsters or gods or whatever at e boring and especially watching it after Gantz: 0 (I know it's newer but it just 3 years) there's nothing going for them.
Third, another Battle Royale that adds nothing to the genre. There's nothing to write home about it. It's bland, cheesy, not suspenseful, and nothing to care about the characters. I'm familiar with Takashi Miike's work from Visitor Q to Yakuza Apocalypse and it's a hit or miss. Sadly, this one is a miss unlike the latter.
