Half the audience came out during the screening
18 October 2020
At the cinema where I went to watch, at the time of its release, it was a Saturday night, in one of the best cinemas in Barra da Tijuca, in Rio de Janeiro. There were about 12 people in the cinema. 6 came out throughout the film. One of them, when he left, shouted good-naturedly: good luck to you. We all laugh. Well, I'm just going to say that I regret not going out with him. I'm sorry to have to make this statement here, I know how difficult it is to make cinema in Brazil. Just putting a movie on the screen is already a great merit, but nothing forgives a bad script, because it is the part of the film where it is least spent and that affects the whole. It is unfortunate that Brazilian directors still hesitate to film any badly finished script. And this same problem occurred in one of the director's next films, As Boas Maneiras, which has a series of serious script problems. A feather. I suggest more attention to the script in the next films. Give it to other people who are not friends to read
