Wow! Are the Japanese really this stretched-thin on samurai plot line ideas? Hallmark Presents: "Life of a Gay Samurai". At one point, I thought I was watching a samurai movie that was re-translated by the Family Guy's Seth Macfarlane. There wasn't any justification for these guys, standing around with swords, talking this goop. It looked way out of place. This film was really silly and pointless. It contained ridiculous and corny dialogue that would make a Bruce Li movie look good. The only thing that saves this from an F are the acceptable fight scenes along the way. There also are some subplots that take you away from the badly contrived main plot.
