Run the Race (2018)
Family struggles after mom dies of cancer.

My wife and I watched this at home on BluRay from our public library. Based on the relatively few votes it doesn't seem that very many have seen it.

Two high school brothers (filmed in in Alabama) lost their mom two years earlier to cancer and their dad coped with it badly, abandoning the two brothers and drinking too much. One brother had been a football player but a bad concussion has limited his activities. The other brother is an all star running back, hopes to get a football scholarship to a Florida university as a way to get out of their small town.

It is a faith-based story, Tim Tebow is one of the producers. The arc of the story is to mend family relationships and to deal with adversity after the other brother has a bad injury requiring ACL surgery and rehab.

It is a pleasant movie, the overall message is worthwhile. The actors have experience in TV and TV movies, they do an acceptable job.
