My sister's favorite show. There was special effects, Wholesome fun, drama and interesting stories from a quiet town of the Prairie. Un-like other violent westerns there was some violence but the stories on Little House on the Prairie where more day to day real life episode than your show down at Tombstone. The boxer that John beat up had health, problems, the town helping John out with the store owner, the bad family the town ran out etc all compelling episodes. All memorable episode because there close to real life stories, which grandparents would pass down . Drama of the Ingle girls fighting with the Spoiled girl from the dry goods store, which her mom spoiled and the mother was just as bad. Like the time she listen in on the phone conversation and John found out his wife was married before. Great episode. The imaginary friend episode about day dreams and John talks about imaginary friends was just great. There was always a drama story, which intertwine with interesting characters and created great character development for a great story, which crafted what would have been a dry t v series into a classic t v series. 7 stars.
