"Late Bloomer" is a 13-minute live action short film from over 10 years ago written and directed by Craig William Macneill and I wish he would have told his co-writer not to narrate this film here as he was so painfully over-the-top, even if intended that it was a tough watch for me what otherwise could have been a pretty entertaining little film. It is about the awkwardness of an entire class during their first sexual education class. I really wish the narrator would have restrained himself as the writing, acting and soundtrack as well as the whole atmosphere worked pretty nicely to make this almost as awkward to watch as the children in the room felt during the film. But one component messed up the entire thing for me and that is why I do not recommend checking this one out. Thumbs down.
