In "Ricki and the Flash" I expected an idiotic film, but found instead a shallow (and idiotic) one. Initially, the plot unfolds quite interesting and could develop into a conflict-ridden drama. Instead, the film bobs to a kitschy, vacuous feel-good movie of the vomiting kind. Given the cinema poster - had I really expected anything else from this film?
Even the performance of some of the actors couldn't help this dull, meaningless story.
