The Penguins of Madagascar is the follow up of the events of Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted -- in the four lovable & hilarious penguin's perspective. And does it succeed? The answer is it improves and deteriorates from sequence to sequence, but stands out in a fine fashion.

The first 2/3rd's of this spin off flick will most likely leave you bursting with laughter or chuckling for the least bit. The characters, excluding the four flightless protagonists (which are awesome without doubts) are great in their own way, whether they have great character development or just straight out funny and likable.

However, as fun as it is, the final sequence in New York City is what makes a standing out movie break a few ranks. It leaves you confused and is the worst and most boring part of the theatrical feature.

P.S - You might miss it, but there is a running gag in the film where the villain (Dave/Dr. Octavius Brine)'s henchmen are being called out coincidentally named after celebrities and the said action would follow the celebrity's surname.

Pros: Fantastic Characters, Humor & Celebrity references

Cons: Dull-witted finale
