I saw this movie at the Anonimul Festival in Romania this year. The story is really simple, without any artifices. A pianist suffers a hand accident and cannot play anymore. To cope with this situation she invents a guy next door who plays a piano tune through the wall and she imagines playing together.
While this short is definitely about how sometimes what seems like something that will worsen your emotional state can actually set you free and help you through, it also makes you think about the sources of inspiration. And how you should never question where an artist's inspiration comes from, however crazy it may seem from the outside.
