Great modern classic

An excellent adaptation of the story of Leonid Andreyev.Very relevant to the subject of the chaste, no nonsense, no false pathos, neither sentiments nor taste TV serial , nothing, than it's nice the new Russian cinema. work of Alexis Shevchenkov just genius. This is a great actor. Nothing in any of the productions of the Evangelical history. While watching at some point is something extremely unpleasant for a Christian, you start to sympathize with Judas, be the same as he. Judas, actually, that's all, it's miserable, not able to cope with the tyranny of their own reasoning a humanity that came to rescue Christ. This movie, in my opinion, much closer to the authenticity of the events which, in fact, there is something unthinkable, impossible, remains a mystery.
