It's interesting how the Peanuts can start out with some random story lines and then go into the larger one like this does. Before we even get a title screen, we have at least two or three stories already showing.
This follows the story of Rerun who desperately wants a dog. It's rather cute but doesn't keep following the storyline in the beginning but then as the story kept going, Rerun asks more and more about having a dog. Then when they were talking about Snoopy's family, we get some insight into his brothers and sisters which I thought was rather fun. Throughout a lot of the shows, we don't really see his family until then. It doesn't explain though why Snoopy is rather off most of the time.
The animation is fluid with watercolor backgrounds against hard line characters. It's the normal style for one of these old Charlie Brown cartoons which surprises me since its such a early one. Each of Snoopy's brothers and sisters have their own style and are easy to tell apart though sometimes its hard to remember all the names as they only really say them once except for Spike.
Voices are the same as the other shows, and I believe were done by the same voice actors. Sometimes they break the forth wall in the script as Rerun is on top of his mother's bike or during the end which is actually rather fun.
