Great acting makes it tolerable

I don't remember too much about this one to be honest with you. I just remember it being watchable for the most part with some standout performances. It's a bit of a shame Sarah Roemer didn't become as big as I thought she'd be, and Elisabeth Shue isn't quite as prominent as she used to be. Both girls are absolutely tremendous here, and have a solid rapport with each other. It has some decent suspense, and I dug Roemer's dysfunctional interaction with her family. The main problem I had with this movie is I knew where the movie was heading in the first 10 to 15 minutes. If you've seen this type of thriller a lot of times like I have, it's not that hard to figure out where it's going. I personally felt it was a bit convoluted, even though I knew it was coming. It's worth a watch on cable, or Netflix if you're bored
