Surveillance (2013 TV Movie)
A good try but leading nowhere...

Warning: Spoilers
The topic at the start was promising. Not so usual to describe the daily life at work for a security guard in charge of a major shopping center. Adapted from a novel, itself written by a former guard, the audience can here find many unknown methods used by those private eyes to catch the shoplifters and other thieves. And the audiences may also watch for the unbearable working conditions in which the female employees have to earn their salary. Some realistic sequences here, not so very often shown in movies, even in France.

But unfortunately, the movie sinks rapidly with classical lines, foreseeable at the most, with a lead, the guard, the good hero who have to deal with rotten supervisors and also the so much expected love affair with the poor female cash clerk.

In summary, a total waste made for family audiences, with the unbearable happy ending.

Forget it. Such a shame for this kind of story at the start.
