"Pas d'histoires" presents 12 outstanding short films by young film-makers on racism in everyday life. The films encourage to discuss and act against racism. Especially suitable for the use at schools among a young audience. Examples of films included in "Pas d'histoires": CYRANO - A girl receives love letters from an anonymous but talented author. How does she react when she finds that he is colored? LETTRE A ABOU - Ahmed has only recently arrived in France. Who does he confide in with all his worries about quarrels with his new schoolmates? MOHAMED Following a racist attack, Mohamed realizes that his skin is the "wrong" color. He longs to change his identity. PETITS RIENS Dark-skinned Mohamed applies for a job which Mlle Dubois is also hoping to get. The director hints at 'little differences'... PIMPRENELLE - Soria is supposed to dress up as a fairy to entertain the kids at a children's party. What does the hostess say when she realizes Soria is not blond and white like a "real" fairy? RELOU - Three young North Africans are molesting a blonde girl on a bus. The tension rises, until the young girl answers...
