The Barkley family led by Victoria were a close loving family sons Jarrod the well respected lawyer, Nick who ran their large ranch and daughter Audra. So understanding was Victoria that she let her late husband's son , Heath, from an illegitimate affair into the family as full son. In the first season son Eugene was seen as a college student who would be home for a few shows, but didn't return for second season. What did he do that was so terrible? Fail a course?
