New films arriving to Hulu in the month of December include those that came out in 2024 like Cuckoo, The Inheritance, Storm Crashers, Summer Camp, Flycatcher and more. Christmas favorite Elf arrived on the streamer at the end of November ahead of the holiday season, and Miracle on 34th Street (1994) started streaming on Hulu Dec. 1. Ben Stiller’s new film Nutcrackers also provides a more modern Christmas story.

Beloved classic films coming to Hulu this moth include Cheaper By the Dozen and Cheaper By the Dozen 2, Cast Away and all four Twilight films among others. Ridley Scott’s first Gladiator film will be available to stream starting Dec. 2.

Frozen is a Disney animated musical fantasy film released in 2013. It is inspired by Hans Christian Anderson’s 1844 fairy tale, The Snow Queen. Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee directed it. It remained the highest-grossing animated film until The Lion King came out in 2019. It won many accolades, including two Academy Awards.

After seeing him star across so many different genres over all these years – especially the superhero one, it’s undeniable that Robert Pattinson has more than just his chivalrous charms to lure his audience in. Netflix has done it again! The streaming giant knows just how to make its subscriber base happy. We've been hearing about a lot of different book-to-movie or book-to-tv adaptations from Netflix, and this time around, the streamer has announced a new animated series adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s Midnight Sun book!

Don't know who Stephenie Meyer is? Well, she's the author of the bestselling book series Twilight. Yes, the same vampire novels that were adapted into movies that ended up being box-office hits. Those movies are Twilight (2008), The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009), The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010), The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 (2011) and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 (2012). Each film continued the beautiful yet unconventional love story between human Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson).

I never thought I'd be writing about Twilight again after the hit franchise came to an epic end in 2012 with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. But now there's some exciting news! Remember the author of the books Stephanie Meyer's Midnight Sun novel? The one that's a retelling of Twilight but from Edward Cullen's perspective? Well, we're going to be able to see it come to life onscreen! Though, not in the way that you might think.

According to Deadline, Netflix has given the upcoming show a straight-to-series order in animation form. That's right. The new Twilight series is going to be animated. The production is currently in development and Meyers is on board as one of the executive producers. Joining her in the role is Tell Me Lies writer Sinead Daly who is also going to be penning scripts. No release date or cast members have been confirmed yet.

The Boys Season 4 introduced two new characters into The Seven – Sister Sage, played by Susan Heyward, and Firecracker, played by Valorie Curry. Curry’s Firecracker aka Misty is a right-wing YouTuber and political activist in The Boys universe, who’s a leading figure in the ‘Alt-supe’ movement. It was as if the character was designed to make fans despise her in every way possible.

Sofia Coppola is opening up about two movies that she turned down.

The famed 52-year-old director has worked on projects such as Marie Antoinette, Lost in Translation and, most recently, Priscilla, which stars Jacob Elordi and Cailee Spaeny as Elvis and Priscilla Presley.

While she’s got some big projects to her name, Sofia opted out of directing a Little Mermaid movie. She also passed on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2. She explained why in a recent interview.

Spooky season is almost here, and so is Freeform's 31 Nights of Halloween. On Aug. 31, the network unveiled its 2023 lineup of Halloween classics, consisting of spellbinding favorites like "Halloweentown," "Hocus Pocus," "Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas," and the 2003 version of "The Haunted Mansion," just in time for its 20th anniversary.

Twilight fans will also be delighted to see all five movies from the beloved vampire-wolf franchise on Freeform's lineup, but that's not the only series featured. The "Twitches" and "Hotel Transylvania" films will be shown, too. Harry Bosch is returning to Amazon Freevee on Oct. 20 – and he’s taking matters into his own hands to save his daughter in a new teaser for “Bosch: Legacy” Season 2.

The drama series’ second season finds Bosch (Titus Welliver) working alongside Honey “Money” Chandler (Mimi Rogers) to track down a masked assailant who kidnapped his daughter Maddie (Madison Lintz) before time runs out. But as the FBI scrutinizes Carl Rogers’ murder, Bosch and Chandler are placed under suspicion.

In the clip, Jerry Edgar (Jamie Hector) tells Bosch that he needs to let authorities do their job to find his daughter, to which he replies: “Don’t cut me out!.” He also makes clear that while the FBI has to do things the “right way,” those rules don’t apply to him.

It’s a new month, and Hulu subscribers are getting a slew of new movies and TV shows to enjoy.

June 1 is jam-packed with more than 30 titles that have landed on the streamer, including the seventh and final season of Ava DuVernay’s “Queen Sugar,” the Jack Nicholson-led film “Hoffa,” Sacha Baron Cohen’s “Borat” and the entire “Twilight” franchise.

Mixing in a little of the old with new come goodies from 2023, like “Flamin’ Hot,” which tells the story of Mexican migrant Richard Montanez who came up with the idea for Flamin’ Hot Cheetos while working as a janitor at Frito Lay. The film lands on Hulu June 9.

Ending June with a bang will the be second season of “The Bear,” (June 22), Season 20 of “The Bachelorette” (June 27) and the sixth and final season of “Grown-ish.”

It’s 25 years later and the men and women of Sheffield, England, are in reboot mode, navigating life and family. The original 1997 movie focused on a group of down-on-their-luck, blue-collar men who put on a strip show to make ends meet.

Taylor Lautner said his perspective on the Twilight franchise and the fame he received from the films has changed over time.

During a recent interview on The Happy Hour on Today Show Radio, the actor said that while now he only has “fond memories” of his experiences while filming the movies, he also thinks that he “needed the space.”

Lautner was a teenager when the first film debuted in 2008. The franchise, based on Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling novels, went on to spawn a total of five films, with the last one, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, premiering in 2012. Lautner starred as Jacob Black, a werewolf competing with vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) for Bella Swan’s (Kristen Stewart) heart.

The Twilight Saga, which quickly became a worldwide phenomenon and grossed more than $3 billion at the box office, launched the films’ leads into stardom, something that Lautner said took time to process.

Harry Bosch will continue to crack cases for the foreseeable future. Ahead of the Season 2 premiere this fall, Bosch: Legacy, the spinoff of the longrunning Amazon crime series, has been renewed for a third season. Amazon Freevee announced the renewal Monday, prior to the Amazon NewFront presentation.

Additionally, David Denman (Mare of Easttown), Patrick Brennan (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2), Rafael Cabrera (Too Old to Die Young), Bruce Davison (X–Men) Jessica Camacho (All Rise) and Guy Wilson (Angelyne) have joined the cast for the upcoming Season 2.

At long last, “Twilight” is coming to television. Lionsgate TV is in early development on a new adaptation of author Stephanie Meyers’ best-selling saga, according to media reports.

Little is known about the “Twilight” TV show. The project is in early stages with no network or streamer attached. According to The Hollywood Reporter, which first reported the news, “Tell Me Lies” and “The Get Down” writer Sinead Daly is attached to pen the script. There also isn’t a timeline for the project at the moment. Lionsgate TV plans to lead development on the series before shopping the rights to the package. Sources say author Stephanie Meyer will be involved along with Wyck Godfrey and former Lionsgate Motion Picture Group co-president Erik Feig, who secured the rights to “Twilight” in 2006.

A spokesperson from Lionsgate TV declined to comment.

That’s clearly what Lionsgate Television believes, anyway, as The Hollywood Reporter has broken the news that a Twilight TV series is in development!

The Hollywood Reporter notes that the Twilight TV series is in its infancy and does not yet have a network/platform or a writer as sources say the studio, which controls the rights to the franchise, plans to lead the development on the project before shopping the rights to the package.

There may only be 16 days left in 2016, but one of the most anticipated movies of the year is only just hitting theaters this weekend. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will begin holding preview screenings tonight before setting its sights on what could end up the largest opening weekend of the year. Also hitting theaters this weekend is Will Smith's sentimental, holiday weeper Collateral Beauty to go along with the expansion of La La Land, which had the largest opening weekend per theater average of the year last weekend, and the nationwide expansion of Manchester by the Sea into over 1,200 theaters.

The next 2015 blockbuster is upon us. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 marks the final installment in the adaptation of Suzanne Collins' novels and looks to become the first $100+ million opener since Minions back in July. Joining the pre-Thanksgiving fray is the Secret in Their Eyes remake and The Night Before starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Seth Rogen and Anthony Mackie. Meanwhile, Spectre hopes to maintain some kind of a foothold as audience competition heats up. Ending any kind of made up suspense, yes, Mockingjay 2 will become 2015's fifth $100+ million opener. Part 1 opened with $121.8 million last year and Part 2 should be in that same vicinity this year. The plus-minus, however, is up for debate. Spectre's $70.4 million opening last weekend was the seventh largest of 2015 and this weekend it faces little to no incoming competition. The week's new wide releases include the Chilean miner drama The 33, the Christmas-themed family feature Love the Coopers and the period, football drama My All American. Not one of these three new wide releases will be threatening the top two spots at the box office, which means the second weekend of Spectre and The Peanuts Movie draw the majority of our attention. Starting with Spectre, the first instinct is to look to Skyfall's second weekend back in 2012. After a monster opening, Skyfall dropped 53.5% in the face of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2's $141 million opening weekend. Some had been expecting that Holmes would get the death penalty. According to Mother Jones, the jury deliberated for less than seven hours. The Aurora tragedy is one of the worst mass shootings in U.S. history. As of Feb. '15, pre-trial expenses in the case against James Holmes cost state taxpayers $5.5 million. American Ultra stars Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg will be reunited later this year in another project: Woody Allen's next as yet untitled feature. Bruce Willis is the third cast member whose name has been publicly announced. The source for this information is an "exclusive" report via Deadline.com's Mike Fleming Jr. So far, as Fleming explains in his brief piece, Woody Allen and "his people" haven't confirmed the casting. Unsurprisingly, no plot details about the upcoming Woody Allen project have been forthcoming. Allen's latest collaborators – Letty Aronson, Stephen Tenenbaum and Edward Walson – will be producing the film.

British pop star Ellie Goulding hasn't had a proper album released since 2012, but since then the artist has appeared on the soundtracks to "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2," "The Host," "About Time," "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," "Divergent," and, perhaps most memorably, over the closing credits to stone cold masterpiece "Spring Breakers." Her latest contribution to her ever-growing soundtrack compendium is a new track for the hotly anticipated "Fifty Shades of Grey," opening on February 13th.

The track, an unbelievably catchy number called "Love Me Like You Do," has an accompanying music video and said music video features ballroom dancing, Goulding walking around in a black leather jacket, and, oh yeah, brand new footage from the movie (starring Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan). Don't worry, it's totally safe for work. The soundtrack, which also features cuts from The Weeknd, Annie Lennox, and Sia, will be out on February 10th.
