The last time zombies dominated the horror genre, George W. Bush was in the White House. Since then, the braindead hordes have retreated — never disappearing completely, of course, but showing up in reduced numbers compared to their heyday of “Shaun of the Dead” and the “28 Days Later” series. Now, with climate change accelerating and fascism on the rise, the mood has turned post-apocalyptic once again.
Multiple films at this year’s SXSW engage with this ambient feeling of existential paranoia. The Australian entry “We Bury the Dead” takes the straightforward zombie-apocalypse route, with a little bit of “elevated” thematics mixed in. And given how many variations on both themes already exist, it’s impressive that writer/director Zak Hilditch has located some fresh angles on the concept.
Chief among them are the disarming flashes of humanity that still exist inside of Hilditch’s undead, which surface occasionally, like the...

Stephen King’s The Running Man is headed back to the big screen later this year from director Edgar Wright, with Glen Powell (Top Gun: Maverick, Twisters) taking over the role played by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1987 movie. It’s set for release in theaters from Paramount on November 7, 2025.
Chatting with Empire Magazine, Wright teases that his upcoming movie is going to be more faithful to Stephen King’s source novel than the 1980s movie adaptation ended up being.
Wright previews, “One of the things about the book that I loved was the fact that Ben Richards is out in the world on his own, so it’s like the deadliest game of hide and seek. It does feel like making a road movie in a lot of ways: a very intense, dangerous road movie.”

Since Osgood Perkins’ feature debut with The Blackcoat’s Daughter, the filmmaker quickly developed a reputation for somber, atmospheric horror. Perkins left that variety of horror behind for his fifth outing as director with The Monkey, opting instead to entertain with an absurdist, gory comedy that mines death for all its mordant humor. It’s a move that might seem out of left field at first, until you recall Perkins’ early career start as an actor with comedic roles including the underseen early aughts horror-comedy Dead & Breakfast.
The 2004 zombie comedy from writer/director Matthew Leutwyler follows a group of friends road-tripping in an Rv to Galveston, Texas, for a wedding. Because this is a horror-comedy, the group gets lost and winds up at a bed & breakfast in Lovelock. Things are already weird and eccentric in small town Texas, but then group oddball Johnny (Perkins) opens a small wooden box and unleashes “Kuman Thong,...

In such a cruel world, one needs to laugh often. It makes us feel better, right? Thankfully, Netflix has a lot to offer in terms of series or movies that make us chuckle.
Some of these shows are well-known. Who hasn't seen Seinfeld, for instance? It is excellent and worth watching, but not the only thing worth watching.
The series (and one movie) below might fly a little under the radar, but they are truly hidden gems. They are worth your time. Most importantly, they will make you laugh.

The amount of warmth on this show is amazing, especially considering there is an ever-present shadow of the Northern Ireland Troubles. The series takes place in the 1990s and revolves around a group of teen girls. Only, we get to see their other relationships fleshed out as well.

The British mockumentary sitcom The Office remains one of the most influential comedies ever produced. Not only did the series enjoy a stellar three-season run which culminated in an 8.5 IMDb rating, it also inspired a range of spinoffs, including the Steve Carrell version.
Though it only lasted for two seasons (2001–2003), the show catapulted its cast to stardom, and produced a range of superstars. Over two decades later, let’s take a look at where the actors are in 2025.

"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" looks set to rise from the grave, with Sarah Michelle Gellar reportedly set to return as her iconic character. This is great news for everyone who grew up watching the original series in the late '90s and early 2000s, but the revival probably won't arrive for a while yet, and that means having to wait impatiently. Still, what if we told you that there's an awesome show that's similar to "Buffy" and flew under the radar at the time of its release? That show exists and it's called "Reaper," and it deserves to be exhumed so it can finally gain the appreciation it deserves.
Created by Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters -- who Marvel fans will know for their work on "Agent Carter -- The CW's "Reaper" began life as a spec script for an episode of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." However, after being inspired...

Live-action remakes aren’t just Disney’s anymore. Universal debuted a full look at the reimagining of DreamWorks Animation’s beloved “How to Train Your Dragon” during the Super Bowl, releasing a stirring new trailer after a spot during the NFL championship game.
Like the original film from 2010, this remake follows the isle of Berk, where vikings and dragons have long been enemies. But when Hiccup (Mason Thames) goes against centuries of tradition to befriend Toothless, a Night Fury dragon, he disrupts the community and opens up new possibilities for both vikings and dragons alike. The teaser shows their initial meeting, with a wary Hiccup gently reaching out to touch Toothless on the snout, slowly earning his trust.
“I’m the first viking who wouldn’t kill a dragon,” Hiccup says.
And he’s rewarded for his decision. Together, Toothless and Hiccup soar through the sky, barreling past rocky cliffs and roaring oceans,...

This article contains some spoilers for "Heart Eyes."
The filmmaking team behind the new Valentine's Day-set slasher movie "Heart Eyes" seems to be rallying around their film with a particular spin on the "see it in theaters!" agenda. Namely, that new horror movie icons cannot be born if no one goes to see them when they're brand new. While this is unimpeachably true, it feels important to point out at least one of the reasons why horror fans — traditionally a very loyal and easy-to-please group — have not shown up for one of the several attempts at creating a new horror icon over the last decade and change. While some have not been given a fair shake at all, others have either had a pretty lackluster start, been too singular to franchise (I don't think we'll be seeing "Skinamarink V: The Skinamarinking" anytime soon), arrived too late (the eventual "Thanksgiving" movie...

I believe it takes a well-developed sense of humor to be a horror fan. After all, none of us would be able to sleep if we actually thought that Freddy Krueger could show up in our dreams at night – and yet we always play along when the time comes to enjoy spooky stories about supernatural killers and mutated monsters.
That’s why the rise of horror comedies was all but inevitable, as most horror hounds were already willing to laugh alongside their favorite filmmakers instead of at them. That being said, some of these humorous scares are more popular than others, and today we’d like to shine a light on six criminally underseen horror-comedies that deserve a second chance at success!

Exclusive: Zygi Kamasa, the veteran film executive who launched True Brit Entertainment 15 months ago, is on a scary mission to bring back Britain’s horror film heritage. Today, he reveals that his company will release period shocker The Dreadful starring Game of Thrones duo Sophie Turner and Kit Harington and Oscar winner Marcia Gay Harden in the UK.
“I feel very much that I want to go further in trying to encourage the UK industry to make more horror movies because horror still works consistently well in cinemas,” Kamasa insists, citing the success of last year’s occult horror Longlegs.
Sophie Turner, Kit Harington
But Longlegs, and many other recent horror movies, were American made.
“If we’re going to do horror in this country, go back. I mean we were dominating horror in the Sixties and Seventies, the Hammer horror and all that.

Nick Frost Says He, Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright Will Still Be Making Buddy Comedies in Their Sixties

In another decade or so, the Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy will gain a new taste. Who’s ready for some prune ice cream?
When Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost first started making comedy projects together in the late 1990s, the young bucks started with a surreal, roommate-focused sitcom called Spaced that ran for two seasons and earned the trio enough critical clout to eventually pull off one of the most ambitious and only-thematically-related film trilogies of all time, the aforementioned Three Flavours Cornetto series. Pegg is the senior-most member of the comedy collective, having been a decrepit 29 years old by the time Spaced premiered on U.K.’s Channel 4, but Frost believes that he can keep working that geezer until he’s absolutely ancient.
In a recent talk with The i Paper, Frost revealed that he “definitely” believes the Three Flavours Cornetto trio will reunite and continue...

Netflix has a great way of churning out excellent original series. The films the streamer does can be great, too. Or some of them can be purely fluff.
The great thing about having a Netflix subscription, though, is that you don't only need to see Netflix Originals. You see a whole scope of movies made by other studios. That can be both good and bad.
But writing optimistically, there are 12 examples below of why you should be grateful to have a Netflix subscription. Each of these films is a winner. You will not be disappointed.
12 movies you should not miss streaming on Netflix in January 2025Paddington 2
Paddington 2 is a perfect movie. This is not written as a fan of children's films solely, as the film is entertaining for people of all ages. There are enough heart-warming moments, more than enough laughs, and a bad guy played wonderfully by Hugh Grant.

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost will be at Awesome Con. The actors shot to stardom together with a series of winning projects—most made with celebrated writer/director Edgar Wright—including the sitcom Spaced, the “zom-com” Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and The World’s End. Both actors have also thrived in their own rights, with Frost appearing in projects like Attack the Block, Truth Seekers, and Star Wars: Skeleton Crew and Pegg in the Mission: Impossible series, the J.J. Abrams Star Trek series, and The Boys. Their breakout film, Shaun of the Dead, celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2024.
ScreenRant is happy to announce that frequent Simon Pegg and Nick Frost will appear at Awesome Con on both Saturday and Sunday. The pair will be available for autographs and photo ops, and will also take part in a panel on the Main Stage. Attendees can expect to get to ask...

The greatest zombie movie to feature weaponized Sade albums, Shaun of the Dead, marked its 20th anniversary last year. In addition to making a lot of people feel super-old, this milestone also meant that we got a new “remastered” version of the film, which was released on 4K Uhd Blu-Ray this past December.
While the film is mostly identical to the version that came out in 2004, director Edgar Wright did subtly tinker with one memorable scene. In the original film, Shaun visits his local shop for a soda and a Cornetto ice cream cone, and is completely oblivious to the apocalyptic carnage around him. After failing to notice two bloody handprints on the cooler, he slips on what we can only assume is a puddle of blood.

South Korean films and television shows have delivered some no-holds-barred spectacles, with lacerating violence and soul-rattling twists. "Squid Game," which recently premiered its second season is no exception, and one of the show's key actors, Gong Yoo, previously starred in another South Korean genre gem.
In "Squid Game," Gong plays the Recruiter, the enigmatic and well-dressed agent who lures in potential players by challenging them to a game of ddakji. The Recruiter's handsome face and friendly demeanor make it easy for his character to convince unsuspecting debtors to try their luck -- both at ddakji, and then at the mysterious higher-stakes game.
In "Train to Busan," that same magnetism draws you in and makes you root for Seok Woo, a divorced workaholic who tries to escape a zombie outbreak with his young daughter, Su-an. By now, zombie flicks are a tried and true genre; we've seen every sort of take on zombies,...

For those who've only known an existence with home gaming consoles, it might feel wild to realize that the video game movie genre is still quite young. The first movie to be based on a pre-existing video game was Rocky Morton and Annabel Jankel's mangled-by-studio-interference adaptation of "Super Mario Bros.," a massive box office flop that caused studios to tap the brakes on future excursions in this newfangled genre. While 1995's sensibly budgeted "Mortal Kombat" turned a sizable profit for New Line, video game movies weren't viewed as potential blockbusters by the studios until "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider" grossed $275 million worldwide in 2001. The floodgates opened over the next decade, but the movies were, with very few exceptions (Paul W.S. Anderson's first "Resident Evil" and Christophe Gans' "Silent Hill"), about as bad as movies get.

Over two decades after the release of the genre-defining zombie film 28 Days Later, director Danny Boyle and writer Alex Garland are returning to the realm of horror with the long-awaited 28 Years Later. Essentially helping to jump-start the zombie craze of the 2000s, 28 Days Later follows an average bicycle courier named Jim (Cillian Murphy) who awakens from a month-long coma to find all of London has been besieged by a zombie rage virus. Eschewing the tropes of earlier zombie media, the walkers of 28 Days Later were faster, meaner, and more frightening than their predecessors.
Though Garland and Boyle were only involved peripherally, a sequel was released in 2007 entitled 28 Weeks Later which continued the post-apocalyptic story and was well-received. Meanwhile, the 28 Days Later franchise helped to bring the zombie film back into vogue, and is directly responsible for movies like the Dawn of the Dead remake, spoofs like Shaun of the Dead,...

Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Last Night in Soho) is directing a new take on Stephen King’s The Running Man, and the adaptation has found its game show host in actor Colman Domingo per Deadline.
The Running Man will now release in theaters on November 7, 2025 after shifting from its original November 21 date.
King’s novel, published under the pseudonym Richard Bachman, was released in 1982, loosely adapted into the same-titled Arnold Schwarzenegger-starring film in 1987. The story follows “Ben Richards, a desperate man who participates in violent reality show called The Running Man in order to win enough money to revive his gravely ill daughter. The show follows Richards being chased by numerous hunters sent to kill him.”
Glen Powell leads the film. Karl Glusman (Watcher), Katy O’Brian (Love Lies Bleeding) and Daniel Ezra (“A Discovery of Witches”) also star. Furthermore, Josh Brolin was cast to play the central...

An almighty twist and a demented finale rescue the Shaun of the Dead actor’s cartoonish homage to folk horrors – but co-star Aisling Bea deserves better
The trouble with Nick Frost’s knowingly cartoonish and silly comedy paying homage to folk horrors such as The Wicker Man and Midsommar is that Frost has done this kind of movie before, and better. His hugely enjoyable collaborations with Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright, Shaun of the Dead and The World’s End, had a perfect command of comedy horror. The tone here feels less good natured, more self-congratulatory, the comedy not quite so light on its feet. Though it comes into its own with a cheerfully gruesome gorefest in the last half-hour.
Frost writes and stars alongside Aisling Bea (who really does deserve a better horror film). They play Richard and Susan Smith, an ordinary-seeming middle-aged couple with the irritating habit of calling...

Why do pantomime when you can do Alien? A very amateur dramatics group led by Dorset Bus Drivers spent a year creating a serious stage adaptation of the sci-fi, horror film, Alien. Their village-hall show is a crushing flop; it seems their hard work was for nothing but fate gives them a second chance to perform their homemade homage in a West End theatre, for one night only. With wobbly sets, awkward acting and special effects requiring ‘more luck than judgement.’ Will it be alright on the night?
Out now to stream Alien on Stage is the debut feature documentary from the hugely talented duo of Danielle Kummer and Lucy Harvey and we chatted to the pair about the movie and more.
After its world premiere in SXSW, Alien on Stage has had a hugely successful film festival season, screening at over 60 festivals worldwide, winning 4 audience awards and 2 jury awards.

From other zombie comedies like Shaun of the Dead to other Jim Jarmusch-directed absurdist horror films like Only Lovers Left Alive, there are a ton of great movies like The Dead Don’t Die to check out. Now streaming on Netflix, The Dead Don’t Die tackles the familiar setup of a small-town zombie invasion in a completely unfamiliar way. As usual, the local cops are tasked with fending off the undead, but this movie has cops that know they’re in a movie, a zombie-slaying samurai played by Tilda Swinton, and a hefty dose of Jarmusch’s signature deadpan humor.
There’s no other movie quite like The Dead Don’t Die — it’s a very unique cinematic experiment — but there are movies with similar tones and styles. There are other movies that take a quirky comedic approach to a zombie apocalypse, like Life After Beth. There are other horror films with a refreshingly offbeat voice,...

“The Running Man”: Release Date, Cast, Plot, and All You Need to Know About Glen Powell’s Next Movie

If you’ve ever found yourself knee-deep in a conversation about dystopian thrillers, there’s a good chance The Running Man has popped up at least once. Remember that 1987 classic starring Arnold Schwarzenegger? The man who practically defines ‘action hero’ took on crazy villains like Fireball, Dynamo, and Subzero in a blood-pumping race for survival.
Well, the original was a blast, no doubt, but let’s be real—it was more about the spectacle than the substance. That said, the new adaptation is going to be a whole different beast. Starring Glen Powell, The Running Man is getting the overhaul it deserves, ready to elevate the story to an entirely new level.

When most people think of Christmas, they envision sentient snowmen, houses with elaborate light setups synced to songs performed by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and elves on shelves in various compromising positions. In my house, it’s all about cozy movie marathons leading up to the big day. While films like Die Hard, Scrooged, and The Nightmare Before Christmas always make the rotation, it’s John McPhail’s 2017 musical zombie horror Anna and the Apocalypse that turns the most heads. McPhail’s delightfully deranged, snow-sprinkled symphony of holiday cheer and coming-of-age angst shambles onto screens like High School Musical mixed with Shaun of the Dead, giving audiences the gift of an off-the-wall Christmas-themed comedy with rhythm, gore, and grim tidings.
Anna and the Apocalypse focuses on a group of students from the sleepy town of Little Haven. What begins as an awkward start to a holiday break before graduation quickly escalates...

The world is full of underrated zombie movies that you really need to see, and when one of them was made by Jim Jarmusch and features a laundry list of Hollywood's finest actors, there's no shame in being doubly intrigued. The movie in question is none other than the 2019 horror comedy "The Dead Don't Die," which is currently seeing plenty of success on Netflix. In fact, the decidedly un-seasonal film is sitting at a very respectable third position on the streaming platform's Top 10 daily most viewed movies as of December 22, 2024 (per FlixPatrol).
In many ways, "The Dead Don't Die" is a perfect movie for the streaming age. A decidedly off-kilter film with a slow pacing and thematic choices that made it difficult for audiences and critics to swallow (as evidenced by its 54 percent critics score on Rotten Tomatoes), it failed to set the box office ablaze during its original theatrical run.

A24 has unveiled the new Death of a Unicorn poster, a dark comedy formerly titled Death of a Unicorne, ahead of the trailer reveal tomorrow.
The dark comedy, according to the poster below, will arrive in Spring 2025.
Death of a Unicorn stars Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega (Scream, X, “Wednesday”). But the talent doesn’t stop there. Not only is the dark comedy produced by Ari Aster (Beau is Afraid, Misommar), but horror master John Carpenter will compose music for the film.

It marks writer/director Alex Scharfman’s directorial debut. The film also stars Téa Leoni (Jurassic Park III, Spanglish), Will Poulter (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3), Anthony Carrigan (Bill & Ted Face the Music,...

A scene from Get Away. Courtesy of IFC/Shudder
Despite a growing sense of fatigue from too many serious and darkly comic gore-fests, I signed up to cover Get Away for two reasons – Nick Frost and Aisling Bea. Glad I did. Frost became a celeb primarily from serving as Simon Pegg’s lovable sidekick in Shaun Of The Dead and Hot Fuzz (one of my all-time faves). Both were written by Pegg and Edgar Wright, leading to several other worthy collaborations from the three pals.
This time Frost as writer and star proves he can stick the landing in that genre just fine on his own. Delightful Irish stand-up/actress Bea plays his wife, as they and their two (typically surly) teenagers travel from England to Sweden for the eponymous vacation. They decided on a remote island, timing the visit with an arcane festival and program that’s an homage to its history.

Nick Frost is all too familiar with the feeling of being an unwanted tourist. The comedian’s latest film “Get Away,” which he wrote and stars in, tells the story of a bumbling British nuclear family who takes a summer vacation to the fictional Swedish island of Svälta. The insular island is best known for staging an annual pageant that depicts the cannibalistic murder of four English soldiers — and believe it or not, the locals who stage this play aren’t thrilled to see four English guests in their town.
In a recent conversation with IndieWire, Frost explained that the genesis of the project emerged from his own family vacations to a similar Swedish island that never seemed particularly happy to see him.
“I spent a lot of time on a really small, very beautiful Swedish island over the last kind of 25 years. We have family who have a house on a tiny island,...

It’s one of the most timeless setups in the horror pantheon: a group of unsuspecting travelers visit a remote and insular community, only to find themselves sucked into a ritual that places their lives in danger. From “The Wicker Man” to “Midsommar,” the folk horror subgenre has thrived by exploiting our fear of interrupting a tradition that we were never meant to be a part of. The juxtaposition of ignorant tourism and seemingly backwards folk religions produces the kind of gruesome friction that horror filmmakers love to exploit. Now, Nick Frost is ready to find out if audiences are willing to laugh about it too.

New Year’s Eve felt a bit different in 1999. Not simply because it was a different time but because of the pesky “year 2000 problem” that’s more commonly referred to as Y2K. The world anticipated global computer system failures that would cause the shutdown of technology everywhere, including power. It created a widespread panic that entailed people prepping for an actual apocalypse. Except, once the clock struck midnight, nothing happened. The computers adjusted just fine, everyone breathed a sigh of relief, and the world moved on in a blink.
Y2K director/co-writer Kyle Mooney and co-writer Evan Winter imagine what could’ve happened had the Y2K bug actually triggered catastrophe, marrying an apocalyptic horror movie with a raucously entertaining teen comedy.
Mooney, a millennial making his directorial feature debut with Y2K, remembers that specific point in time well. He recalls, “I mean, it was just such a disappointment.

Presented by Steven C. Miller’s Werewolves, Bloody Disgusting is looking to the stars and howling at the moon with Werewolves Week. Today, Luiz H.C. grabs a handful of silver bullets as he revisits six iconic werewolf deaths in horror history.
Personally, I’ve always found monster movies to be more thrilling when they give the protagonists a fighting chance. This tiny sliver of narrative hope usually comes in the form of a specific weakness that can be exploited in order to defeat whatever creature happens to be attacking, with one of the most famous examples being werewolves’ “allergic reaction” towards silver – with even young children being aware of this fatal weakness.
However, there’s more than one way to skin a cat (or a lycanthrope), and in honor of Steven C. Miller’s upcoming Werewolves, which depicts a world where a Supermoon event has turned millions of people into monsters,...

History dictates that any space adventure set in a galaxy far, far away needs to have its compulsory comedic robot to join in on the action. In the case of "Star Wars: Skeleton Crew," that duty falls to burley, one-eyed mechanoid, Sm-33. Lurching his way through every episode and battering any villain that dares cross the show's heroes and their captain, Fern (Ryan Kiera Armstrong), some keen-eared viewers might've already realized who is responsible for the raspy voice ringing through the wires of this hulking bot. Indeed, Disney and Lucasfilm turned to Nick Frost, the co-star of the Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy, to help bring this thuggish, grouchy companion to life.
Frost's breakout role came in the cult series "Spaced" alongside Simon Pegg, before the two and the show's director, Edgar Wright, forever changed horror-comedies with 2003's "Shaun of the Dead." Wright, Pegg, and Frost would later reunite for the...

This article contains spoilers for "Star Wars: Skeleton Crew" season 1, episode 2.
Everything can seem dangerous when you're a kid lost in space, and the pirate droid Sm-33 makes no exceptions. "Star Wars: Skeleton Crew" certainly takes care to frame him as a potential threat. When the clunky, partially malfunctioning robot with an alien critter residing in its empty eye socket regains power and shuffles into the frame, you'd be forgiven for thinking you've accidentally tuned in to a space-themed horror movie and witnessing the main antagonist.
Fortunately, Sm-33 -- a not-so-subtle nod to Mr. Smee from "Peter Pan," no doubt -- is firmly on the main characters' side, at least after one of the show's young heroes, Fern (Ryan Kiera Armstrong), convinces him that she's killed the former captain of the Onyx Cinder and taken charge. Though old and decrepit, he proves to be a useful (if unnerving) ally who...

The latest Disney+ streaming series, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, continues to immerse viewers in the Star Wars world by having the young cast on a pirate station somewhere off in the galaxy. Minus the dry heat and desert, this is a throwback to the original film.
The world is full of nefarious characters that would rob their own mothers blind. As the children end their run through hyperspace, apparently, you don’t need to wear your seatbelts during such a stretch. They arrive. However, an ominous figure climbs up from the ship’s gallows.
Who comes through the smoke-filled piece of metal junk? It’s a droid wondering why these passengers stole his pirate ship. Their name is Sm-33 and easily Stars Wars: Skeleton Crew’s breakout character.

Zombies have had a diverse array of representation across the history of movies and television. Their portrayal can sink into the terrifying such as in the movies World War Z or Train to Busan. Zombies have also been popularized recently by the long-running series The Walking Dead, which has also had multiple spinoff. Though deemed "the Infected," HBO's acclaimed series The Last of Us portrayed zombies in a pandemic-esque format, warning of a biohazardous disease that affects those bitten by infected humans.
In stark contrast to these portrayals, a number of films feature much more comedic takes on zombies. This includes the hyper-violent yet darkly comedic Edgar Wright movie Shaun of the Dead as well as movies like Zombieland or Warm Bodies. Even the vampire television comedy series What We Do in the Shadows has had its own humorous take on zombies, including them among the supernatural beings in the series.

The young cast of Skeleton Crew might not have grown up with The Goonies and E.T. like the rest of us did. But as revealed in the TVLine video above, they made sure to sneak in a screening of such 1980s Amblin fare before diving into their roles in Disney+’s latest live-action Star Wars series (premiering Monday, Dec. 2 with the first two of eight episodes, followed by weekly drops starting Tuesday, Dec. 10).
