Marvel won't be feeding a heart-shaped herb to a new T'Challa soon. According to a new interview on ComicBook, outgoing Marvel exec Nate Moore, who is staying aboard Black Panther 3 as a producer, claims there is "no truth to the rumors" that the studio is hunting for a new T'Challa...

It was a big enough surprise when Harrison Ford agreed to return to the Star Wars franchise as Han Solo, so the fact he's joined the MCU - as a Red Hulk, no less - is still pretty mind-blowing.
Making his debut in Captain America: Brave New World next month, the actor appears excited to board a franchise he's watched many of his contemporaries have fun in. Beyond that, only time will tell whether Red Hulk is a one-and-done villain or a key part of future stories.
Ford isn't the first actor to play Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross as the late William Hurt was originally cast as the antagonist in 2008's The Incredible Hulk. He took an extended break from the MCU before returning in Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and Black Widow.

What If...?'s third and final season received a mixed response from fans and didn't exactly conclude the animated series in a way that left people wanting more.
Interestingly, we did get a last-minute sequence showcasing all manner of Variants that failed to make the cut. Among them were a Maestro-like Hulk, Thanos-erine (the Mad Titan x Wolverine), an Ironheart Punisher, a samurai Ghost Rider, and six-armed Spider-Man.
The latter two are highlighted in newly released concept art shared by Joey Vazquez on X.
Spider-Man is complicated given the character's ties to Sony Pictures (it still feels like a miracle that we even got to see Peter Parker in What If...? season 1's "Marvel Zombies" episode). Why didn't this badass Ghost Rider make the cut? After all, we know the rights to the anti-hero returned to Marvel Studios several years ago.

Ben Affleck saw the writing on the wall way before superhero fatigue became Hollywood’s worst nightmare. Back in the early 2000s, when Marvel was still throwing things at the wall to see what stuck, Affleck had a gut feeling that people might eventually get tired of capes, spandex, and the same old save-the-world formula.

Fast forward 22 years, and, Boom, his prediction is hitting harder than a third-act CGI battle. With fans tuning out and studios scrambling, his old warning feels less like an opinion and more like a spoiler.

Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson, the current Captain America of the MCU, will be facing off against Red Hulk, the monstrous transformation of Thunderbolt Ross (played by Harrison Ford) in Captain America: Brave New World.

A lot of fans are convinced that Sam Wilson can no way hold his own against The Red Hulk, and might need some extra assistance to bring the President of the United States down. Ironically, one of Thunderbolt Ross’s own creations might be the key to this problem, which could also bring a celebrated actor back to the MCU.

Daredevil: Born Again has undergone major changes since first being announced by Marvel Studios with a creative overhaul upping the action and bringing the series more in line with Netflix's Daredevil.
Showrunner Dario Scardapane has already suggested that the Man Without Fear's She-Hulk: Attorney at Law cameo will be ignored due to it not fitting in with Born Again's darker, violent tone. Now, Kingpin actor Vincent D'Onofrio has strongly hinted that the super-strong Wilson Fisk we saw in Hawkeye has become a little more grounded.
"They were kind of different iterations of the Fisk from the original show," the actor shared with SFX. "My job is to service the story. Hawkeye was one style of show, very far away from the Netflix series, and the way Fisk was written itself - which was really good - was a completely different world."

Captain America: Brave New World releases in just over two weeks. This Valentine’s Day, Sam Wilson will make his big screen debut as Captain America, having already made his screen debut as Captain America in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
A lot of details have emerged in the previous weeks about the newest Captain America movie. Its run time is just under two hours, clocking in at one hour and fifty eight minutes making it the shortest of the four Captain America movies. We also know that Sam Wilson has received some Wakandan assistance which allows him to take on a threat as powerful as Red Hulk and perform superhuman like actions. We’ve known for a while now that adamantium, Marvel’s most famous metal, will make its debut and will almost certainly come from the body of the Celestial Tiamut.

The nine episode first season of the Marvel series Daredevil: Born Again is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on March 4, 2025 – and during an interview with SFX magazine, showrunner Dario Scardapane, who previously worked on Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan and the Netflix series The Punisher, said this show will be even darker than the Netflix Daredevil series it follows, with less navel-gazing and more frequent big action sequences.
Although the initial plan was to rework some elements and make Daredevil: Born Again stand separate from the Netflix Daredevil series (despite sharing some cast members), the show underwent a creative overhaul when the writers and actors strikes shut down production in 2023. Now, this series is a direct follow-up to the Netflix series, picking up five years later. Charlie Cox comes out of retirement in Daredevil: Born Again, set to hit the small screen in March. After the brilliant three seasons of the Netflix show, fans will see Matt Murdock go up against Wilson Fisk in this 18-episode series. However, the show might avoid going into one great mess that the MCU created with Cox’s character.

Tatiana Maslany is unlikely to appear in the show as She-Hulk, even though her eponymous show portrayed her and Daredevil as an item. While showrunner Dario Scardapane admitted that the appearance of Daredevil in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was canon, the new show might not lean into those events.

Betty Ross is one of the more forgotten characters of The Hulk’s mythos, whether it be the films or comics. She appeared last in the MCU back in 2008, when Edward Norton was the Incredible Hulk. Essayed by the likes of Jennifer Connely (in Ang Lee’s Hulk film) and Liv Tyler (in the MCU), Betty Ross has always served as the ‘beauty’ part of the Beauty and the Beast dynamic she has going on with Bruce Banner and the Hulk, much to Thaddeus’ charging. However, that dynamic was lost in the MCU, especially after the franchise started shipping Bruce with Natasha.

Charlie Cox has made three appearances as Matt Murdock in the MCU. The first came in Spider-Man: No Way Home when he was revealed to be Peter Parker's "very good" lawyer. He later suited up for a fight scene in Echo but by far his biggest role was in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
In that series, the Man Without Fear squared off with Jennifer Walters before spending the night with his fellow lawyer. Tonally, his role was far more comedic than what we saw on Netflix but still very much in line with the comics (particularly Mark Waid and Chris Samnee's critically acclaimed Daredevil run).
Fans were divided on whether that was the best use of the Man Without Fear and it sounds like Daredevil: Born Again will be keeping things far more serious and in line with his previous solo series.

These days, crafting a standalone Marvel story feels almost impossible, especially with every project tied into the bigger MCU web. Daredevil: Born Again showrunner Dario Scardapane knows this all too well. While planning the Disney+ series, he quickly learned how the MCU’s larger plans could limit creative freedom.
In an interview with SFX magazine, Scardapane explained that while he had creative flexibility early on, some ideas had to be reworked because they clashed with Marvel’s grand strategy.

Captain America: Brave New World Teaser Features New Footage; Better Look At Red Hulk Popcorn Bucket
Following last night's international poster, we have a Japanese teaser for Marvel Studios' Captain America: Brave New World, along with a better look at one of several popcorn buckets that'll be available in theaters in the build-up to the movie's release next month.
The TV spot is mostly made up of previously-seen footage, but it begins with some new shots of President Ross (Harrison Ford) meeting with a high-ranking Japanese diplomat.
According to some leaked plot details, The US and Japan will butt heads when the latter takes control of the Adamantium reserves mined from the Celestial known as Tiamut, who was frozen mid-Emergence towards the end of Eternals.
Full press screenings for Brave New World aren't expected to take place until early February, but we're hearing that 30-minute previews are being held a lot sooner (possibly even next week), and social media reactions will be allowed afterwards.

Late-night TV stars are often called "comedy heroes" by their adoring fans. But for a select view, they've entered the world of superheroes thanks to cameos in Avengers comics.
Some late-night hosts may fancy themselves heroes for the way they take on the villains of the day, throwing punchlines instead of punches. However, most would agree that they're just trying to lighten the mood rather than save the day.
The rise of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has brought countless stars to late-night TV to discuss their superhero roles. Yet the connection between late-night TV and the Avengers goes beyond just the screen.
These three late-night TV cameos prove Marvel's sense of humor isn't just limited to a few quippy big-screen heroes in spandex and CGI.

The Red Hulk will show off his many differences to Bruce Banner's Hulk in the MCU when he makes his official debut in Captain America: Brave New World. Bruce Banner's Hulk has been at the core of the MCU since his first appearance in 2008's The Incredible Hulk, but Marvel Studios has also recently introduced many other Hulk-like characters to the MCU. Captain America: Brave New World's Anthony Mackie opened up about working alongside legendary star Harrison Ford, as well as their previous time working on the same movie, Hollywood Homicide. In the upcoming MCU film, Ford plays Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross/Red Hulk, an antagonist to Mackie's Sam Wilson/Captain America.
Speaking with Fandango, Mackie discussed his relationship with Ford:
"This being my second time working with Harrison Ford...Harrison is probably one of the coolest brothers I've met in the film business, and I was surprised by that because the first movie we did together he was extremely cool."
"So at the premiere, Harrison Ford came up and talked to me. I was like 'yo, Indiana Jones!' Cool, right? So when he came back and we did this, I was really surprised, like Danny always tells the story: you know we're we're just kicking it and usually a star...

Captain America: Brave New World star Anthony Mackie is ready to officially inherit the mantle of Captain America from his friend and former costar Chris Evans. Mackie has starred as Sam WIlson in many MCU projects starting with 2014's Captain America: The WInter Soldier, and his character started off as the Falcon, a sidekick to Evan's Steve Rogers/Captain America. In Avengers: Endgame, Steve passed his iconic shield to Sam, who properly took on the title at the end of the DIsney+ series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been eagerly anticipating the upcoming Avengers movies that will serve as a culmination to the franchise's current chapter. The Multiverse Saga has been the focus of the MCU since its debut in 2021 and it has proceeded to offer fans surprises and cameos, and hints and teases about what's to come from the "endgame" of the storyline. It has also made Marvel history by telling that saga's story across film and television, through the arrival of the various Disney Plus shows.
The Multiverse Saga has been setting the wheels in motion for Doctor Doom's arrival as he will pose a threat so great that it will be up to the disbanded Avengers to reunite to take him down. And even though that team will likely consist of a number of new faces (after multiple original and long-time Avengers died during the long-term showdown...

Warning: Contains Spoilers for The Incredible Hulk #21! The Hulk is one of the deadliest heroes in the Marvel Universe, as his god-tier strength makes him powerful enough to challenge practically anyone - including the virtually-unkillable Wolverine. That has come in handy in his most recent comic series, since the Hulk is being hunted by primordial monsters the likes of which are more gruesome and horrifying than he’s ever faced before. However, the Hulk is more than prepared for these eldritch beasts, and even uses Wolverine’s goriest move of all time to defeat one.
In a preview for The Incredible Hulk #21 by Phillip Kennedy Johnson and Danny Earls, the Hulk is fighting a giant wolf-like monster called Vârcolac. This beast was awakened by the Eldest (the leader of all Earth’s monsters under the Mother of Horrors) to not only kill Hulk, but also take back the godskin of...

Netflix’s Our Oceans is a five-part docuseries that takes viewers through the planet’s five oceans, using the global ocean current—often called the “conveyor belt”—as its central theme. This current, an unseen system circulating water worldwide, reflects the series’ focus on interconnectedness: between ecosystems, species, and humanity.
Narrated by Barack Obama, the series combines his calm, familiar voice with stunning visuals of marine life and seascapes. It merges education with entertainment, designed to both engage and inform. Once a prominent political figure, Obama now leads audiences into the depths of marine ecology in a shift that feels both surprising and appropriate.
The series showcases the beauty of marine life while addressing humanity’s impact on the environment. Mesmerizing scenes of spinner dolphins and glowing bioluminescence are juxtaposed with stark images of plastic pollution and declining shark populations.

The trailer for Daredevil: Born Again confirms Kingpin's new powerful position, but Marvel needs to explain how it happened. Marvel's upcoming Daredevil: Born Again series is a spiritual season 4 of the Netflix show. While it wasn't clear if the original cast was returning, besides Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio, the first trailer confirms that everyone is coming back, including Deborah Ann Woll's Karen Page, Elden Henson's Foggy Nelson, and Jon Bernthal's Punisher. However, not everything is the same as before.
The series takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame, and it has been six years since the last season. Kingpin and Daredevil have appeared in the MCU in projects such as Spider-Man: No Way Home, Hawkeye, She-Hulk, and Echo. However, the trailer confirms that both characters are in different positions from when audiences last saw them. Matt Murdock has retired from his role as...

Since Iron Man blasted into theaters way back in 2008, Marvel Studios has changed the game for superhero movies. Of course, not every movie or TV show they've released has been perfect and, yes, at least a few of them could be considered downright bad.
Overall, though, the MCU has an impressive batting average, knocking these adaptations out of the park time and time again. We'd be lying to say at least some significant creative missteps haven't been made along the way, and it's those we're taking a closer look at today.
This doesn't cover all of them and every fan will likely have their own take on what should be considered a creative misstep (Blade's Eternals voice cameo and Ms. Marvel's new powers are two ideas that didn't make the cut). Ultimately, we think you'll agree that these particular blunders are hard to forgive.

Charlie Cox’s career skyrocketed when he donned the costume and mask of Daredevil in the 2015 Netflix show Daredevil. The actor portrayed the role diligently for 3 years until the series concluded in 2018.

However, Cox’s relationship with the character was far from over even though the actor felt that his Daredevil days were done. The #SaveDaredevil Movement took place and it was so effective that the studio happily invited Charlie Cox into the MCU as Daredevil!

Not taking names or anything, but there have been some movements in the past in Hollywood that have been deemed as quite ‘aggressive’. These campaigns often ended in people getting what they wanted but it was a conflicting time during those social media movements.

Warning: Contains Spoilers for Ultimate Wolverine #1! Wolverine was introduced roughly 50 years ago when he made his debut as a Hulk villain before becoming a prominent member of the X-Men - which is still the case to this day. Throughout his entire Marvel Comics history, fans have been spoon-fed his backstory, which is rife with inconsistencies, retcons, and unreliable narration. But now, Wolverine is getting a total overhaul in the Ultimate Universe, offering fans the final form of this 50-year-old legend - and he’s totally terrifying.
In Ultimate Wolverine #1 by Chris Condon and Alessandro Cappuccio, readers are finally introduced to the Wolverine of Earth-6160, but - in this continuity - Logan goes by a different codename: the Winter Soldier. Not only are readers given his full backstory right in the first issue (which is incredibly refreshing for a Wolverine comic), but they’re also shown one of his assassination missions.

Tickets for Captain America: Brave New World go on sale later today and we now have a "Silence Your Phones" theater PSA featuring never-before-seen footage from 2025's first MCU movie.
Throughout this sneak peek, there are instances of Harrison Ford's President Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross growing increasingly angry. These scenes are clearly meant to hint at his eventual Red Hulk transformation, arguably the biggest reveal here.
Up until now, the prevailing theory has been that something happens in the final act that makes Ross "Hulk out" against his will. However, this promo suggests he'll be struggling with "anger issues" throughout the entirety of Captain America: Brave New World as the Commander in Chief tries to fight off his inevitable transformation.
Will Red Hulk return to fight another day or is this a one-and-done role in the MCU for Harrison Ford? That remains to be seen, though we'd be shocked if...

The upcoming Disney+ show Daredevil: Born Again brings the old team back together from Netflix's original Daredevil series, with Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) and Foggy Wilson (Elden Henson) all returning to fight the good fight. But so too is the original show's central villain: the all-powerful Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin, who's back with a vengeance and once again played by Vincent D'Onofrio.
The original Daredevil series ran for three seasons on Netflix. Garnering a dedicated audience, the show is regarded as one of the greatest Marvel projects of all time. Unlike a lot of what produced by Marvel Studios, the show was brutal, gruesome, and gritty, showing fans a side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe rarely explored onscreen. However, the show was sadly axed after Disney decided it didn't want any Marvel series debuting new episode anywhere other than on its own proprietary platforms.

Charlie Cox's Daredevil will undoubtedly be a key figure in the new era of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Matt Murdock has made a few appearances in the MCU so far, but they've been nothing more than cameos. For instance, he was Peter Parker's lawyer in Spider-Man: No Way Home. In addition, he appeared in the MCU shows She-Hulk and Echo.
Come March, Cox's Daredevil will be properly introduced into the MCU in Daredevil: Born Again. The series brings back the old team from Netflix's original Daredevil show. The nine-episode debut season brings us up to speed with Murdock's story, re-introducing fans to Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) and Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson). Wilson Fisk, aka the Kingpin, is now mayor, which will surely lead to no end of difficulties for our heroes.

Phase 1's The Incredible Hulk dropped a nod to a classic Hulk character that may finally get to make his first on-screen MCU appearance more than seventeen years later. Hulk hasn't had a movie of his own since Louis Leterrier's 2008 The Incredible Hulk. Nevertheless, the McU's Hulk has completed a full arc across several appearances as a supporting character. Hulk's status as a founding member of the Avengers, his time as an intergalactic gladiator, his role in saving the universe, and the reconciliation of his two personas have already been explored throughout the years.
One drawback of Hulk's lack of solo movies is that his friends and enemies haven't had the chance to appear in the MCU as often as other Marvel characters. For example, Doc Samson only had a small role in The Incredible Hulk, Absorbing Man and Glenn Talbot appeared in Agents of Shield outside the McU's main timeline,...

Warning! Spoilers for What If...? Galactus Transformed Hulk? #1
The Hulk is getting ready to battle Galactus, and I have a feeling he won't be fighting alone. Bruce Banner's intimidating alter ego is one of Marvel's most fearsome fighters around, and thanks to the Power Cosmic, he's officially become strong enough to face Galactus. Still, even Hulk can't eliminate this destructive god on his own, so I predict he will form a new team for that very purpose.
In What If...? Galactus Transformed Hulk? #1 by Mat Groom, Lan Medina, Juancho Velez, and Travis Lanham, the Hulk is appointed as Galactus' latest herald. He ends up abandoning his duties before long, though, and the story ends as he charges after Galactus in a fit of rage.
The Hulk's status as Galactus' most gentle herald does not mean he isn't prepared to fight, but he'll need all the help he can get.

Hulk is one of the most complex heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), with some incredible moments featuring the angry green giant throughout his various appearances. Long before the MCU began, the Hulk became a pop culture phenomon. Like other popular heroes, including Spider-Man, Superman and Batman, Hulk was recognizable for fans of comics, and general pop culture. In part, this was due to the character starring in a TV show from 1977 that ran for five seasons.
Even after the series concluded, The Incredible Hulk continued to appear in reruns, and the character's popularity was cemented in peoples' minds. However, since then, the Hulk has evolved beyond being a man who is painted green, or an animated cartoon character. Today, the Hulk is recognizable in live-action films as a powerful giant who is capable of smashing entire armies and scaling the tallest skyscrapers in New York City.

Early box office tracking for Captain America: Brave New World indicate a debut domestic opening ranging between $81-107 million. This report from Box Office Theory also places the Marvel Cinematic Universe's total domestic haul at a range of $195 million to $280 million. These numbers are fairly standard among previous Captain America films, with the notable exception of Captain America: Civil War. According to Box Office Mojo, the first Captain America film opened on the lower end at $65 million, while Captain America: The Winter Soldier debuted with a $95 million domestic weekend gross.
Captain America: Civil War broke this trend with a massive $179 million domestic opening, but it is worth noting that this installment in the franchise had the star power of the entire Avengers cast, as well as the first MCU appearances of Black Panther and Spider-Man. What’s going on with the incredible Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Although his adversaries Red Hulk and The Leader (as well as his ex-girlfriend Betty Ross) are known to be in Captain America: Brave New World, it doesn’t seem that he’s going to show up in the movie – and if he does, it’s likely to just be a cameo. Last time we saw him, he was still in “Smart Hulk” mode but also equipped with a Hulk Inhibitor Device that allowed him to turn back into his regular human form. He served as a mentor to his cousin Jennifer Walters on She-Hulk, where he also introduced his son Skaar. In recent months, the Spider-Man 4 rumours have gone from being fun and exciting to verging on exhausting. Villain after villain has been rumoured to appear in the movie and, as things stand, we're no closer to knowing who Peter Parker will battle.
What's become apparent is that there won't be room in this project for all of them. Spider-Man 4 is already in the somewhat awkward position of coming out between Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, as Tom Holland will star in all three movies (meaning his next solo outing will surely be affected by them).
In this feature, we recap each of the characters rumoured to be in the movie, and what their involvement could mean for each respective version of filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton's Spider-Man 4. We also attempt to figure out what's really going on.

We've been waiting a very long time for a new Hulk movie. While the Avengers franchise, Thor: Ragnarok, and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law have all helped to fill the void, Bruce Banner hasn't taken centre stage since 2008's The Incredible Hulk.
Recently, there have been rumblings about a World War Hulks project being in the works, something backed up by a recent Production Weekly listing suggesting it could begin shooting as soon as this year.
World of Reel did some digging and claims to have learned that the project is in active development; in fact, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige is said to have already reached out to numerous directors, including Mad Max: Fury Road and Furiosa helmer George Miller.
Yes, we could get a Miller-directed World War Hulk/s movie!
Interestingly, the report notes that Miller has expressed interest in helming Thor 5 after working with Chris Hemsworth on...
