Giacomo Meyerbeer was born on 5 September 1791 in Tasdorf, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. He was a composer, known for Maytime (1937), Song of Surrender (1949) and Vento di primavera (1958). He died on 2 May 1864 in Paris, France.
