Michaela Conlin is an American actress best known for her role as Angela Montenegro on the Fox crime procedural comedy-drama Bones. Conlin was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania on June 9, 1978 to a Chinese mother, an accountant, and an Irish father, a contractor. She performed in her first play at the age of seven, and continued to appear on stage in numerous Pennsylvania community and regional productions.

She is real-life best friends with <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0221043/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Emily Deschanel</a> who plays Dr. Temperance &quot;Bones&quot; Brennan, her best friend on their show <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/title/tt0460627/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Bones (2005)</a>.

Her father is Irish American and her mother is Chinese American.

Graduated from NYU&#39;s Tisch School of the Arts, with a BFA in theater.

Went to Parkland High School in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
