Not enough praise can be lauded for the work Marvel Studios puts in to choose the right individual to bring their characters to life. Look at 2025 in the MCU, which will include Harrison Ford as President Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross/Red Hulk, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams/Wonder Man, Vanessa Kirby, Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as the Fantastic Four, and Ralph Ineson as Galacatus.

A New York attorney took legal action against Ben Affleck and Matt Damon back in 2023, claiming they stalked and harassed her and even bugged her home. The lawsuit, filed in the New York Supreme Court under the Adult Survivors Act, also accused Jennifer Lopez, Casey Affleck, Kevin Smith, Ryan Seacrest, and Harvey Weinstein of involvement.

According to court documents obtained by the Daily Mail, the attorney alleged that Affleck and Damon hacked her devices and used details from her life in Saturday Night Live skits and Weinstein-produced films. She claimed their actions left her fearing she would be kidnapped or worse. The case also targeted major studios, including Disney, Warner Bros, and Paramount, for allegedly enabling the harassment.

The first trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps will be released online tomorrow, and Marvel Studios has now shared the first official theatrical poster in anticipation.

The Oscar-winning actor Cate Blanchett has said she finds the lack of change following the inception of the #MeToo movement eight years ago “quite distressing”.

In an interview with Porter magazine, Blanchett, 55, reflected on her involvement with the Time’s Up initiative to champion victims of sexual harassment in the wake of the revelations about Harvey Weinstein.

“The Haunting of Hill House” star Victoria Pedretti hyped fellow actor – and co-creator of Netflix’s “Anne+” – Hanna van Vliet at International Film Festival Rotterdam Sunday evening.

“You are a leader,” she told her.

Dark Horse Comics has dropped Neil Gaiman, cancelling his Anansi Boys comic series, in the wake of sexual assault allegations brought against the author.

The publisher posted to X Friday night writing, “Dark Horse takes seriously the allegations against Neil Gaiman and we are no longer publishing his works. Confirming that the ‘Anansi Boys’ comic series and collected volume have been canceled.”

U.K.-based Tortoise Media spotlighted accounts from four women — two who came forward in early July 2024 and two more who told their stories at the end of the month — about their encounters with the Coraline and Sandman creator.

The comic books are the latest projects in Gaiman’s creative catalogue that have paused or been canceled in light of the news, which Gaiman addressed on his personal blog, denying the allegations.
