The Other Side of Edinburgh (T)
During the 1980's the Muirhouse/Pennywell area of Edinburgh was regarded as one of the most deprived areas in the city. Its residents were blighted by drug addiction, crime and the Aids/HIV epidemic.
It was about as far removed from the ice hockey community as a community could be. So when a young resident chose ice hockey as a path for a better life it seemed like an impossible and implausible dream.
