In Nacht und Eis (1912)
Oldest Existing Titanic Movie In Existence But Not The First
Contrary to what many believe this was not the first movie created about the Titanic. The first was "Saved From The Titanic" starring survivor Dorothy Gibson which was released 31 days after the disaster. Unfortunately a fire destroyed all known copies.
The Lion King (1994)
Probably the Best Disney Movie I've Ever Seen
I have always had a soft spot for this movie. Not only is it the same age as I am, but it boasts one of the best music scores of all Disney movies, (except Tarzan... that one is still one of my absolute favorites) and has some of the best voice work I've seen. Like come on! Darth Vader is voicing Mufasa! (I actually wrote Musafa because I'm writing this drink!)
Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (2017)
I know it's bad but they should have killed Leia off in this movie.
Don't get me wrong I love the movie. I was raised on the prequels, fell in love with the originals in my teens and I am open to this trilogy. I won't lie I loved this installment. I was a bit heartbroken to see Luke become little more than Obi-Wan had been in A New Hope but at least Obi-Wan was still open to teaching Luke before he died.
Leia (RIH Carrie Fisher) brought a kind of hope and respect that I will always admire but I feel that when the command center blew up, it would have been a perfect death for Leian because in the end her son did not shoot the command center. She could have felt that in the force and know her son did not kill her.
One thing I believe in whole-heartedly is that Snoke did not create the bond between Ben and Rey. If he had it would have dissipated the moment he was killed. The thing that sucks is that even though he killed Snoke, Ben wouldn't turn. I am an active supporter of Reylo like I was with HSLO (Han and Leia).
My favorite part has to be the scene when the Raddus shoots through Hyperspace and slices through half the First Order fleet and Snoke's flagship. That was freaking badass.
All in all I give the movie a 7.5/10 even though I round it up to an 8 on here. I can only hope we get to see more of Rey and Ben and less whiny Kylo...
