Uppena (2021)
Uppena - This tide rose to good heights
The story though predictable has been carved beautifully with an engrossing screenplay, hard hitting dialogues and melodious music. Firstly, Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupati held his forte with ease till the climax episode. Kriti Shetty performed very well despite being a debutant. Vaishnav Tej actually had no acting scope yet shines in his role. Director Buchi Babu will surely be the one to look out for. His screenplay and dialogues oozed emotion into this predictable storyline. Sukumar should be credited for bringing out the most from vintage Devi Sri Prasad. Those songs were superb. Visuals are grand thanks to the cinematographer. Some scenes in the 2nd half could have been trimmed. On a whole, the movie looked like a canvas with best output from all the departments. I rate it : An above average fare. I loved it.

Hard hitting emotional story - Exceptional Performances
If not for the protagonist "Suhas", the audience would not have connected to the emotions in the story. Suhas already proved he can pull off comedy roles easily and this time he proved his mettle with a top notch all-round performance. Viva Harsha finally got an excellent role and he lived his role. Chandini should have done better. Sunil too is just decent. Songs and BGM by Kala Bhairava needs a special mention. Overall, the story is very much predictable but the performances are excellent. Dialogues were superb but direction should have been better. There was so much lag in the screenplay of the first half. Some scenes should've been trimmed. Overall, Suhas will surely be in the list of top actors in TFI. Such a rare talent 💯
Dil Bechara (2020)
A film that stood TRULY LOYAL to the emotions in the book
I was not a fan of Sushant Singh Rajput. After watching his acting in a scene "where he talks with heroine's father while drinking beer", I'm stunned if not I almost cried. If not for "Sushant Singh Rajput", no other B- town hero of his age would've delivered such a stellar performance. I actually read the book "The Fault in our Stars" in 2016. I literally cried reading it. The climax scene where Sushant asks his best friend & girlfriend to tell him the eulogy they would tell on his funeral, I actually went back to my memories reading the book. Sushant lived in his role. A.R.Rahman Sir's music and BGM are class apart. Sushant's swansong is a genuinely thrilling and everlasting performance. Loved it.
