First one was a great found footage movie.
The second was a good found footage movie.
But the third one was a terrible found footage movie.
It felt like they gave up after half of the movie. The walking sound did not match with the passed they walked. When they walked down to the basement on the stone stair you heard sounds that a wooden stair make in a old house. The effect was terrible, felt like something a film student would use in their first school project. And the whole plot was just wrong. Doing a "reset button" move is so cheap. Make it feel like they did not have anything to lose. Everyone except the crew from the first movie where returned to life is just a bad move in a horror movie.
See the first one as a stand alone and you will like Hell House LLC a lot. But when you see the franchise it falls down.
