Game of Thrones (2011)
Breaking Bad is 1000x Better!
Anyone who says this show is better than Breaking Bad hasn't seen it. It's just all around better. This show is for huge dorks and fans of movies like Lord of the Rings.
It clearly shows that Breaking Bad is a higher rated show, so it's obviously better.
Breaking Bad (2008)
Best. Show. Ever.
Anyone who says Breaking Bad isn't the best show ever hasn't seen it. I dont think any show could ever top this one.
Ozark (2017)
OMG! OMG! OMG! What a Show!!
Breaking Bad finally has its competition! Not that this could ever be better than Breaking Bad, but it's similar in nature and has the potential to be just as great!
Season 1 was great, Season 2 was even better! Now i can't wait to see how season 3 plays out! Just like Breaking Bad, the tension continues to build from season to season. This show is phenomenal and is here to stay.
Orange Is the New Black (2013)
Going Downhill...and Fast!
This was once my favorite show. I would anticipate the season release every June so much that i would count down the days and even the hours! But that all stopped after Season 5. S5 wasn't really "awful" per sé but it wasn't what we expected from the hit series.
Then comes the showrunner Jenji Kohan. Who seems to be so upset that we weren't happy with Season 5 that she fires her current writers and hires new ones, and flat out promises us, the fans, that Season 5 would be back to great again. We were all excited for that. We even waited an extra month for the shows release. Thinking that it would be well worth the wait. Especially after the trailers were released. It looked pretty damn good!
Then release date came, and it all came crashing down. Episode 1 was a bust...but i still had hope. Then Episode 2 was bad, 3 was worse, and before I knew it there were 2 episodes left. It was then that i realized thst this season was beyond awful! It was certainly the worst one yet. It makes Season 5 look amazing. It really does.
Apparently their plan is to make season 7 about ICE and deportation, etc. That alone makes me realize that this show isn't getting better. It is what it is, and like most shows that start to really suck, it's on its final season. Unlike TWD, a show that keeps getting worse and worse and doesn't know when to quit.
Bottom line, i will not miss the 2nd half of this series. If you haven't seen it then just know that Season 1-4 are great, the rest is just plain bad.
Point Break (1991)
One of the Best Movies Ever Made!
Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves is a tough duo to beat. But they decided to go and reboot the movie anyway. Huge mistake! The only thing it has in common with the original is the name. It's a disgrace to this movie. Had it fallen into the right hands, and had they hired the right actors, and had they followed the original story, then it could have been a really great modern version of a classic hit. I really dont know what they were thinking with the remake, probably one of the worst movies I've ever seen.
This version, however, my all-time favorite movie, hands down. The plot is so original, something you don't see too often in movies today. And the acting is phenomenal! Swayze and Reeves together are amazing and unforgettable! Lori Petty does an amazing job as well.
The Departed (2006)
One of the Best Movies Ever Made!
Amazing movie, amazing cast, what's not to love? I just can't believe it's 12 years old already!
Leonardo DiCaprio became one of my favorite actors after i saw this film.
The Warriors (1979)
My All-Time Favorite Movie!
I can never get enough of The Warriors! The assortment of colorful gangs, the tension you feel off-screen from their dangerous, possibly fatal situation.
You're routing for The Warriors, but at the same time you find yourself hoping that they run into more gangs to fight.
Excellent from start to finish, with many memorable parts that make you want to watch it again and again!
I heard, 10 years ago, that they were planning a reboot of The Warriors. And while I'm usually not a fan of remakes and reboots, I would love to see a modern day reboot of this movie! As long as it fell into the right hands and didn't fall off track too much as far as changing the story.
