Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)
Just a Sound of Lightning
" Thor Love and Thunder " has a slightly rocky path through the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The first movie reimagined Thor as a fish-out-of-water buffoon. Later, he reinvented himself as a romantic figure, and he became a full-fledged comedic figure in "Thor: Ragnarok." But after putting Thor through the wringer in the "Avengers: Infinity War" and the subsequent "Avengers: Endgame" film, he finally found his footing. That said, Thor has been in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for more than half a decade, and each of his iterations has been unmoored.
Unlike the first two Thor movies, Love and Thunder was hyped to be more of a romantic comedy than an action film. But this movie as a whole is neither a romantic one nor can be considered as a comedy film. It honors Thor's long journey toward self-actualization while playing with the romantic comedy tropes. Love and Thunder does suffer from an uneven pace and a few clunkers.
After the triumphant Ragnarok, Thor: Love and Thunder was expected to be an even better movie from director Taika Waititi, but unfortunately, the film fails to live up to its high hopes, missing the mark on balance and settling for a shallow tone that lacks any dramatic power.
Yes Thor love and thunder is a disappointing disappointment for Marvel fans. What went wrong this time is that this so called comedic mashup fails high time to make you laugh. In fact some comedy scenes along with a tickle wont make you laugh.
If we look into the flaws, the film is overstuffed with violence and weak comedy. Most of the jokes revolve around how dumb and oblivious Thor is. There are also too many telegraphed lines and jokes about Thor's obsession with his hammer. Not only this makes the movie a lackluster but there is no goosebump scene in this superhero genre movie
The film lays claim to being the best superhero movie in over a decade, but it fails to live up to expectations in several ways. The prologue has a strong emotional hook, and Christian Bale gives a believable scare. Then, the film wastes a wildly promising prologue and a tepid ending.
The Marvel universe as we all know is very much inconsistent with the power its superheroes posses, In some movies they may have great power but in some other films it seems that the same superheroes suffers from Amnesia. They don't know about their powers or they don't use their powers when needed. Thor is a biggest example for this, Thor love and thunder movie has an interesting concept but is ultimately disappointing. Thor is the God of Thunder. But ultimately he is capable of doing nothing. We can only say that Thor Love and Thunder plot doesn't live up to the comic book's expectations.
The entire movie looks so artificial by forced adding of ingredients, above all this the entire plot looks so loose. Character depth was rather stale, Gorr the main villain came off as both menacing but weak, and his whole characters story was rather shallow, Thor's character change by the end of the movie was awful. Overall Chris Hemsworth as Thor with his extreme goofiness is getting a little stale. The CG is consistently inconsistent from start to finish.
Last but not the least the ending part of this movie is terrible.
Star (2021)
Boring and Forcefully Artificial
The film is boring from begining, as usual this movie has a Doctor who comes in the Climax to explain what exactly happend to the female lead. Early menopause is the issue and i too agree that it will affect women's life during that stage. But the symptoms shown in the movie has nothing much to do with Menopause, The makers has dragged and made it more artificial to make viewers confuse that its something supernatural till the end in which they have failed high time.
