I loved this! I usually watch peppier romantic animes so this was different for me. But I enjoyed it SO much! The one thing is that I was so sad about Ryuzaki and Watari! I just feel like Near and Mello just wasn't as fun watching like L. But I don't think it would have ended as it did had they never died... but honestly, my heart broke seeing how betrayed Touta felt when Light confessed.

I laughed, I DEFINITELY cried! And I couldn't stop watching! I even showed it to my family (I won't say they hate anime but they don't watch it as I do) and they LOVED it too!!! Violet Evergarden is an amazing young girl just wanting to understand what she never did. I wish I could be a doll and now I dream of traveling the world and having experiences as she did. Violet's perseverance makes her a great role model. Though you should definitely prepare a tissue or two! I really hope there is a season 2 coming soon cause I have a theory about the last episode and I need answers!!!

This was my very first K-drama! I first read the Orange Marmalade series on Webtoon and loved it! When I found out this existed I was super excited but it turns out that it's not really like the Webtoon (especially the second part!) BUT it was still really good, well casted and a good story as long as you keep in mind that it isn't a whole lot like the Webtoon.
