I usually come to IMDb to read comments on series and movies I want to watch, but to be honest I realized I was missing on some of the best gems out there. Specially when it comes to unique productions that don't fit "the standard". I'm shocked this series has such a low score, and the bad reviews are only based on people's personal opinion.
I'm so glad I gave this one a shot. The acting, story, cinematography and music are out of this world. As a thriller fan I found myself feeling chills throughout each episode. No character development, some say, does people in real life go through self growth with each second? The characters were raw, it was as real as it gets.

I actually stopped watching this series after the first episode. I thought the story was weak and it was going to be a bad comedy drama, yet boredom got over me and decided to give it a second chance.
Once you get over the first 3 episodes it just hits you hard. The whole series it's filled with beautiful life lessons.

"Something in the rain" is presented as a romantic comedy but it quickly changes into a chaotic representation of our society, as it touches subjects like chauvinism, sexual harassment at work, traditionalism, elitism...
The story is a about a 30+ woman and a 20+ man who slowly fall in love, in a society were it is not widely accepted that older women date younger men, it also shows the clash between two kinds of love: well nourished and patient vs passion-driven and reckless, and how that actually can work out when there's understanding from both sides.
The level of maturity both lead characters show is something we should all take notes on, if you're looking for self growth within a relationship.
