The Great Food Truck Race: Fairbanks Finale (2021)

Won't be watching any longer
13 April 2021
I knew who would "win" when it got down to the two teams. TB was not top notch by any means. The "challenges" give an unfair advantage to poorly performing trucks. BFD should have won but were the wrong shade to please the powers that be. Even the truck name was cringe worthy...Who knows, maybe the next one will be "Sumptuous Scrotum". I also believe that having the show done in Alaska was beyond stupid.

A great.....disappointment
11 March 2021
I didn't even make it all the way through the first episode before deciding it doesn't have anything captivating enough to last for long. I like Wayne Brady but the show is so lacking in everything. I'd rather watch paint dry.

Truly Sad
23 February 2021
She takes way too much pleasure in humiliating and demeaning the "contestants". Rigged, phony and pathetic. I hope it is cancelled soon.

Seems to be different this season
18 February 2021
I enjoyed the initial season of this series. People stepping out of their comfort zone and pushing through to get the job done. This year the first individual "overtime" session was hard to watch. Two contestants with injuries that were obviously extremely painful trying to finish. These were injuries that they sustained prior to the competition. I am wondering why they were allowed to be on the show at all as I expect they are required to make disclosures or sign waivers regarding injuries or health conditions. I almost wonder if the producers don't care if the contestants are hurt.

Sad it doesn't live up to the potential
15 February 2021
I don't know who the people are that are responsible for the script being in sync with the pictures shown but they need to be fired. A simple example is them discussing the size and weight of a Cadillac while showing a Lincoln Continental. Much of the show is repetitive and unnecessary.

Painfully Predictable
14 February 2021
Another well used formula of someone trying to buck the system and do their own thing while battling their narrow minded superiors. The opening episode is the last one I will watch. It may have had potential but it was lost somewhere along the way. I predict an early demise along with that of "The Equalizer" reboot.

Annoyingly Predictable.

Queen L is a decent actress but this show is a waste of time and talents of her and Chris Noth. The original series with Edward Woodward was good. The films with Denzel were good. This incarnation is not. All the scenarios have been run. Don't waste your time. Update as of 5/23.... I am not surprised it was renewed for a season 2. Whoever is pushing this one has obviously not read the user reviews here. I only watch free streaming services now and don't waste my money for crap like this that I don't want to watch or help fund.

Way too much time wasted repeating unnecessary points
7 February 2021
These clowns are absolutely annoying. They take one point and then beat it to death while smiling at each other. The show had potential but it gets lost in their need to stroke each other's ego. How about they be succinct and stick to the story and facts? That would be a watchable show. As it is now...not so much.

Wrong on so many levels
7 January 2021
I have watched this show and am constantly shaking my head at the inaccuracies and flat out BS they spew. The ultimate was this episode with the 1938 Plymouth Coupe that they keep referring to as having an all aluminum original body. No such animal guys.

They start working on a 1940 Ford pickup that they refer to as an F100. Wrong. The F series wasn't introduced until the all new body style in 1948. As others have commented , the music is also very annoying.

I wouldn't let these guys touch my riding lawn mower. Created drama and hack work. Don't bother with watching as it isn't even entertaining.

A large load of El Toro Poop

I have bought and sold over 450 cars in my life. These clowns do a fine job of following a script to make us believe they pay a specific amount and then what the "projected sale price" is at the end of the show. What isn't shown is what they actually pay, the buyers premium and what it actually sells for. It's just entertainment and nothing more. Nobody worth their salt will pay top dollar for a car they don't know the history of.

More money than sense
20 December 2020
I have issue with this show on several levels. This particular episode shows them commission a 1969 Camaro to be done as a restomod. They guy doesn't even discuss price...just carte blanche ...do whatever it takes. They find a pace car and don't even check to see if it's a clone or an original before they strip it down. Only a complete moron would do that. Dan probably salivates uncontrollably when someone walks in with a fat wallet like this guy did. These cars are only original once and there are less and less available each passing year. I have no love for those who disrespect the classics.

Fairly inaccurate
20 December 2020
They keep referring to the car as a second generation Mustang. It's a third Gen. 1. 64-66. 2. 67-70. 3. 71-73. Get it right guys.

Invested way too much
19 December 2020
I know these cars and wonder why they invested $18K into a car that's worth $15 tops. I also wonder who told them it would look good with 1949 Ford Hubcaps and trim rings on painted wheels.

Basically, it sucks.
15 December 2020
I saw it on the line-up and thought it would be interesting and informative. I should have known I was wrong when I noticed the clown from racing for pinks ( I think that was the show's name). Nothing but a very long commercial. Don't waste your time.

Disrespectful Hacks

I have been wrenching on cars for 60 of my 71 years. These guys are an absolute joke. They take cars that are classics deserving decent treatment and give them the chewing gum and duct tape treatment. Then for additional insult, they take them out and flog them on the road. Absolutely pathetic.

Insulting to real car people
21 October 2020
Watched my first and last episode of this show. The supposed expert and host has just taken a car that has sat for 20 years, thrown some fresh gas in and tried to get it started. Anyone who knows anything about cars knows you don't do that. One of the first things is to put in fresh oil and then lube the cylinders and turn it over by hand. Flush out the old fuel and check over all the hoses and belts replacing as necessary. Then you think about seeing if it will run. This guy knows squat.

To be succinct....it sucks. Leslie Jones is absolutely the worst choice for a host that could have been made. I don't think it will be a round for long unless someone wises up and replaces her.

I don't find a "parody" of wanton death , destruction and the way so many want to destroy America very funny. I have watched and enjoyed 'AIRPLANE!' many times. Loved 'Blazing Saddles'. This is not even close to their league. Don't waste your time. I love and appreciate good humor, wit and satire. This was none of the above.

Ultimate Lame
5 June 2020
Watched one episode. No more. I don't think it will last a season. A very poorly done show that has very little to offer. I also believe they may have the potential for serious injury due to the nature of the game and how the course is set up. I cringed watching one competitor slip and cause a slight injury. In the final one player was taken away with a very serious acl tear. Not worth the risk.

Worst "Host" ever
28 February 2020
A genuine "Lame Show" rather than Game Show. The host is annoying and her constantly calling people "Baby" is irritating. I did make it through one whole episode but couldn't take any more. She sucked on "Who wants to be a millionaire". This show is worse.

Untapped potential
6 February 2020
It could be an interesting show if they didn't shove the "diverse" casting down our throats. Watching the build process was entertaining but the people were a major distraction. I guess central casting wanted to insure all factions were represented but to me the constant PC agenda is very old.

It won't last
8 January 2020
Too disjointed in it's production. It does have an interesting premise but it's lost in the Broadway musical bits and how she suddenly becomes assertive. I predict an early removal from the lineup.
