Horror and indie combined
12 August 2022
I love a good horror, something that keeps you up at night, flinching at the smallest noise, and this movie did just that. Brilliantly executed with acting that is so believable and a set to support it, you watch believing you are there. A moody, slow burner indie horror that allows the audience to fill in the gaps and a must watch for anyone who enjoys the thrill of feeling unsettled.

An indie classic of its time
18 January 2020
It took me a little time to get used to this movie but when I was in thralls I enjoyed the likeable characters, the believable dialogue and the realism of how you open up over a bottle of wine. A must for any indie movie lovers who enjoy a simple story.

A lot more investigation needed

Warning: Spoilers
Some interesting cases illustrated in a gripping way. On the psychology front I found this documentary disappointing. The answer to many of the reasons as to why the killers committed the act was due to their controlling, self centered, manipulative personality. These are obvious answer and ones you would expect. There was limited exploration into their childhood, previous crimes, previous relationships. So much more needed to be investigated. If the presenter advises the police and these are her findings, then I find this concerning.
