For All Mankind (2019)
Great show, just one loophole that should be rectified
The attention to details is amazing as they describe it in the bonus content, nonetheless, unfortunately there was one genuine error I found.
The moon is ~1.3 light seconds to the Earth. Hence, an instant communication via any EM channel is never possible, and we are talking about the 70s here. Be it the mission chatter or personal talks by astronauts, there doesn't seem to be a hint of a lag/ delay due to this reason; if there is supposed to be, I don't believe it's apparent. It is an obvious flaw, one easily overlooked by non-professional watchers, however, being a physicist always drives me to look at such tiny things. It would be great if this could be corrected or a statement can be made by the showrunners about it. Thanks for reading!
Young Sheldon: Graduation (2020)
What a start!
We don't see the emotional attachment between the twins, Sheldon and Missy, so often, but oh man(!) What a sentimental rollercoaster this episode was, I cried the tears of joy! Just when I thought it was the best part of the episode, I heard the word "Leonard Cooper," and immediately knew that a whole new chapter is just beginning! Hats off to the showrunners!
Supergirl: Fort Rozz (2018)
What a superfast technology!
Any guy with a good scientific understanding knows that the closest star to us (other than our Sun) is 4 light-years from us. That literally means it takes 4 years for light to reach there from us. Relativity limits the speed of our present EM communication to the speed of light. I don't understand how the DEO on Earth were able to instantly communicate with the Legion onboard Fort Rozz, considering the DEO doesn't have futuristic tech based on quantum entanglement as amply pointed out by Brainy! There's probably a dozen such scientific loopholes we miss in every episode!
Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran (2018)
Truly Patriotic
This one by John is a truly inspiring, thriller, patriotic movie that depicts one of the major milestones in indian history: the Atomic Test at Pokhran. Generally, people just have heard of this as I had, but not really know the exact critical and complicated scientific as well as political plot behind the successful mission. A must watch movie for an indian citizen.
Besides being an appealing historical movie, I have some criticism for it. In the bomb trigger scene, the background score played is an unpleasant beguilement of Hans Zimmer's excellant "No Time for Caution" from the movie Interstellar, to produce such a feeling, but is unable to. This, I think could have been better, in the sense, some authentic music should have been produced for the purpose.
Rest of the movies is amazing and worth spending.
