A Simple Favor (2018)
Not bad, but very different from the book
The movie was good and it kept me guessing, but I read the book before I watched it. I expect movies and books to be different, but these could have been totally different stories. From name changes to semingly important missing plot points to completely different endings, the book and movie could stand alone. That being said, I liked the ending of the movie better and I throughly enjoyed both.
Friends (1994)
One of my favorite shows, but full of plot holes.
I adore Friends, but I've watched it all the way through several times and I keep finding more and more plot holes. Like, why do they all seem to have multiple birthdays, and why was rachel 28 in season 3, but not 30 until season 7. It makes no sense. Still an enjoyable show if you don't focus on that stuff too hard.
The Orville (2017)
Love this show
This show is wonderful and the second season already seems better than the first. Alara leaving almost had me in tears and the situation between Klyden and Bortus is definitely worth watching. Great job Seth!
Family Guy (1999)
One of my Favorites, but not at it's best anymore.
I've been a family guy fan for a long time, but the show has definitely gones downhill over the years. I recommend watching the middle seasons (like maybe 4 - 9) those are the better ones.
Bohemian Rhapsody (2018)
This Movie Made me Obsessed with Queen... and Rami Malek
Ok, so I obviously knew who Queen was before I saw this movie, but I didn't realize how many of their hits I already knew. After watching the movie, I downloaded a whole bunch of their songs (including ones that were not in the movie) and I've been listening to them basically all the time. I also got really into Rami Malek (the guy who plays Freddie) because of this movie. He was spectucular as Freddie and I cannot wait until this movie comes out on DVD so I can watch it 100 more times. Please go see it, it was fantastic.
Blended (2014)
Love it!
I love this movie! I've watched it like 3 times in the last two days. I am a little bias because I've always love Adam Sandler (although Jack and Jill and That's my Boy were not great), but I still think I would love it anyway. It's funny, the setting is beautiful and it's heartwarming to the point that it actually made me cry a little. I highly recommend it!
Alexa & Katie (2018)
Very Cute
I just finished the first season of this show and I think it's really cute. It could be a little more realistic. I know Alexa is pretty healthy despite the cancer, but at some points it's like she doesn't have it at all. I felt like I was waiting for something terrible to happen, not because I wanted it to, but because it felt like it would make sense. Maybe they'll be more of that in season 2. Otherwise the show is adorable and I love the friendship between the girls. Katie shaving her head for Alexa was a beautiful gesture and something only a true best friend would do.
