10,000 Black Men Named George (2002)
The miscasting of Black women
It doesn't matter what the context, you can damn sure count on black male filmmakers to always cast bi-racial women as black women. In this film, Asa Phillip Randolph's wife, Lucille, is bi-racial. Leon Frey's wife is bi-racial and so is the young waitress who is Rocky Carroll obsesses over. Townsend pulled the same BS in Five Heartbeats by casting Carla Brooks as a black woman.
Professor Mack (2019)
More Trash
Leave up to a black man, who is always screaming racism, to cast a bi-racial woman as the romantic lead, which is the case in every movie they produce. This is simply more trash in which four "black" men, who are obsessed over anything not black, pursues a mixed race woman. What an incredibly sick and pathetic message to send to black girls.
The Mule (2018)
Aging Men
The only thing worth watching was the black dancer's incredible body. The movie sucked big time, and it provides more proof that Eastwood, who once upon a time was a sex symbol, needs to retire. Sexually associating his senior, fragile character with women young enough to be his granddaughter is typically what aging American men do, not realizing or caring how pathetic and desperate it makes them appear.
A Black Lady Sketch Show (2019)
A Tragedy
I have watched enough episodes to conclude that this show is a tragedy. It's lacks humor, and the plots or sketches are poorly developed. There are so, so many social, economical, and political topics affecting black women that she could exploit rather than this superficial crap. I really expected more.
Shooter (2016)
Film is Much Better
Mark Wahlberg, the executive director, should have stopped with the film, which was 10 times better than the TV series. None of the characters are to be taken serious, particularly Sizemore, Epps, and Addai-Robinson. If they are CIA and FBI then I am Secret Service. Interestingly, Epps, the only black male co-lead is married to an unattractive older Asian woman even though white men and Asian women have a much higher marriage rate.
The Bounce Back (2016)
Don't Waste Your Time
Nothing original here, a professional black man pursuing a white woman. Also, Bill Bellamy isn't funny, and Shemar Moore's lovely empty smile doesn't excuse the fact that he simply can't act.
