Sweet Pecan Summer (2021)
Funny, interesting movie
First, the acting was fine IMO. Second, was this probably like 14 other Hallmark movies....probably. But what Hallmark plot hasn't been used 25 times? I assume the same writers ink all their scripts because otherwise there would be copyright violations out the wazzou! The most repetitive one is where either the male or female is royalty and the other person in the relationship doesn't know it. But this had funny parts, a very believable plot, and like someone said, at least it wasn't filmed in Vancouver. Wes Brown is always good in his movies and Christine Ko who I had never seen before was good also.
Santa Jaws (2018)
Very good for a shark movie
Since there are a million shark movies out there with similar plots and differing number of shark heads, this one was a nice change of pace. It was campy of course but the acting was pretty good, and the plot actually made a bit of sense (how the shark came into existence, what attracted it, what would hurt it, etc). I've watched it a couple of times....good...especially for the overused shark premise.
