The Bear (2022)
Most overrated show ever
You really should not trust the MSM critics who awarded this TV show of the year! Unbelievable!
It was a screaming, shouting match from the beginning. Nevertheless, I waited it out and persisted with it. Now I wish I quit watching in the first episode because it was like this for the entire series.
The story was weak, we've seen it done before and brings nothing new. I couldn't care less about any of the characters.
Believe it or not, this is meant to be a comedy drama, yet there was not a single funny moment in the entire series.
It is the most overrated show I've ever seen. Do NOT waste your time on it!

The dumbest series I've ever seen
You just can't trust the ratings on any platform anymore. This series is just so tedious, predictable, dumb and boring. It brings nothing new to the horror/mystery genre. The leading actress (Dina Shihabi) isn't good enough to be in a B movie but to be fair all characters are so poorly written that nobody comes out of this well.
Also the idea of someone carrying a VHS camera everywhere she goes in a building day and night filming even some mundane events just sounds ridiculous. Sometimes her camera is just running in the background, sometimes she turns up at a party with nothing but her camera but then later on we find it on a tripod.
I know Netflix have now dropped it and it's easy to see why but how they even commissioned this to begin with is baffling.
M3GAN (2022)
Weird sister
This film is ok and entertaining. Basically AI meets Chucky.
The acting was poor all round however. The casting was terrible and I am not sure if it was intentional but the thing I found strange is the lead actress's (Gemma) reaction to her finding out that her sister died. She's like 'yeah ok, I need to get back to work' while her niece was injured and crying. The doll robot M3GAN showed more emotions than all the cast.
One other thing, this is not a horror film and we've seen this formula before and therefore gets quite predictable.
It also looks like it's been toned down for younger audiences.
All in all, it's average.
Avatar: The Way of Water (2022)
Ignore the critics. This was great!
To be honest, having seen the trailer and read the endless bad reviews from snobbish, pretentious journalists I feared this would be bad.
Yet again though, don't trust the critics!
I don't normally write reviews especially on these blockbuster type of films but I felt I had to counter all the bad reviews out there which were misleading.
You can't ask more from a movie. Action packed 3+ hours with the most amazing visuals you'll ever see and a good story to go with it. I'm not sure what more those people critical of it want?
See it on the big screen and in 3D to really appreciate the mind blowing visuals. You will certainly get your money's worth.

Lost for words
Watching this film is an out of body experience. I've watched thousands of films from across the world from the likes of Akira Kurosawa to Andrei Tarkovsky and Stanley Kubrick. This film will stick with me forever. It will touch your soul and will life in a different perspective. The acting (particularly Mohsen Ramezani), the cinematography, the hypnotic sounds and scenery are incredible and breathtaking. The power of cinema and art on full display here. This is a must see for everyone. 10/10.
