James Cameron's The Terminator is a classic sci-fi action film that has stood the test of time. With its gripping storyline, intense action sequences, and Arnold Schwarzenegger's unforgettable performance as the relentless cyborg assassin, the movie delivers a thrilling and suspenseful experience.
The film's dark, dystopian atmosphere, combined with Brad Fiedel's eerie soundtrack, creates a sense of tension that keeps viewers engaged. Linda Hamilton shines as Sarah Connor, evolving from an ordinary woman into a determined survivor, while Michael Biehn's portrayal of Kyle Reese adds emotional depth to the story.
Despite its relatively low budget, The Terminator impresses with practical effects and clever storytelling. Some special effects may feel dated by today's standards, but they don't take away from the film's impact.
While later entries in the franchise expanded the mythology, the original remains a tightly paced, well-crafted thriller that blends science fiction and horror elements masterfully. It's not a flawless film, but its influence on the genre is undeniable.
Verdict: 8/10 - A must-watch sci-fi classic with intense action and a compelling story.

L'isola dei famosi
At this point, L'Isola dei Famosi has fully embraced its worst tendencies, turning into a messy mix of forced drama and dull survival elements. Episode 4 drifts even further from the initial concept of a true survival challenge, focusing instead on exaggerated conflicts and pointless interactions between contestants. Rather than feeling like a test of endurance and resilience, the show starts to resemble a weak version of Temptation Island, where the only real struggle is dealing with irritating personalities.
Unlike Temptation Island, where at least there's an intentional focus on emotional tension and relationships, here the conflicts feel manufactured and lack any real stakes. The survival aspect is barely present, with contestants spending more time arguing than actually trying to adapt to their environment. The challenges remain uninspired, and the production does little to create any sense of adventure or urgency.
Walter, once again, stands out as the only remotely tolerable presence, but he alone isn't enough to save an episode that feels like a chore to watch. If this trend continues, the show will quickly lose any appeal it might have had at the start.

L'isola dei famosi
The second episode of L'Isola dei Famosi continues in the same uninspiring direction as the first, with little improvement. The dynamics between the contestants start to take shape, but none of them manage to be particularly engaging or likable. Their interactions often feel forced, making it difficult to connect with any of them.
The only exception is Walter, who at least appears more genuine compared to the rest of the cast. However, the episode still lacks any real tension or excitement. The editing remains flat, and the survival aspect feels secondary to trivial conversations and dull interactions.
Overall, this episode doesn't add much to the show and struggles to keep the viewer interested. If things don't improve soon, it's hard to see how this season will hold anyone's attention.
