Bring on season 3 please!
17 February 2023
This is animation done right. Excellent character design and development with just enough backstory given to each of the main protagonists. Gorgeous backgrounds and color schematics used throughout the show, high level of detail and that matches the world building perfectly wherever the scenes head. Absolutely masterfully crafted. Hilarious dialogue that keeps things light but can turn on the drama when needed. It was hard to imagine the second season being better than the first but I was thrilled to see it was indeed better. The only problem I have with this show is that each season is to damn short! Really hope we get a season 3 to wrap up the nail biter ending from season 2!

South Korea for the win.

Just watch, you'll thank me later. This show is incredible. You'll almost certainly end up rooting for characters you hated, hating characters you once pulled for and will make you question your sense of justice and what is good and what is evil. The entire cast is impeccably chosen and deliver in every second of every episode. The writing is of the highest level and that's saying something considering the truly amazing shows coming out of South Korea. The brutality, suspense, hopelessness and rage are at times overwhelming but the vein of hope that runs through the show is always present. Just make sure you have a weekend free so you can binge the entire series.

100% pure.......

Pure cheese. Generic one liners, terrible acting, cringy scenes and and overall cheap feel to it. This is a show for simpletons that are easily amused. Couldn't even finish the first episode. It's so bad, it boggles my mind that something this poorly written and executed could receive a score as high as it currently has. I'm losing my faith in humanity. I feel sorry for Stallone, I get that he's in his twilight years and still wants to be the "tough guy" but it's just not believable anymore. He doesn't need to hang it up yet but somebody needs to tell him it's time to try something else. This show is just downright awful.

Truly awful.

Safe to say everyone involved in the film shouldn't work in the industry again. Uninspired acting, predictably boring plot and subpar cinematography. How this movie is rating a 7 out of 10 defies all logic. It makes me think the people watching this movie live in an alternate reality composed entirely of buffoons.

Bad writing. Terrible acting. A travesty of a show. The people responsible for creating this dumpster fire should never be allowed to work in entertainment again. I watched just to see how bad it could get, it was mind numbing in it's awfulness.

Timeless classic.

It boggles my mind Powerhouse Animation Studios could produce 4 season of such utterly beautiful animation in such short order. The background work was mind blowing in its execution, the character design was top tier, the animation was flawless and the story was perfect. Easy 10 out of 10 for this masterpiece.

Almost as bad as Iron Fist.

Plot was awful. Acting was worse. This is an insult to the MCU universe. If I could erase this from my brain I would. I don't know the main actresses name but she could have at least worked out to look the part of some sort of super athlete, she's just this doughy, bland nothing that sucks the life out of every scene she's in. Which would explain why he show is so terrible.

Truly incredible, all 4 seasons were just mind blowing. For years Breaking Bad had been the bar that no show could peak. But I think I may have found it, albeit a few years late. There's no real way to surmise just how brilliant this show is. Having just watched the last episode of season 4 I just kind of sat there in awe. From the first episode to the last all the actors were flawless, the writing of a level so high you wonder how they'll possibly be able to top it, the world they crafted and environment so believable and seamless, it was all just so perfect. This for me is the new standard that ever new show will be measured against.

Amazing show. The episodes have real depth and go in unexpected directions. Surprising to see the show is still flying under the radar, kind of defies logic.

Complete let down.

The only decent scene in the entire movie is the opener. Every thing after that is so painfully generic that I couldn't finish watching the film.

This is a wonderful film that perfectly captures the raw emotions of youth and the confusion that comes with relationships. It's dramatic, in a messy way which feels right for people trying to find their voices in college, sorting through the new experience of being on their own and trying to find a place to fit in. It resonated with me because I've had friends that were incredibly sensitive and didn't quite know how to initially deal with their emotions. The actors were all phenomenal. It's always satisfying to find a film with actors you've never seen before and they just knock the performances out of the park. I'm sure Raiff will go on to do many great films and I look forward to seeing them.

Truly awful. The fight scenes are atrocious, a million different cuts to disguise the total ineptitude of Jones. His acting is even worse if you can imagine that. The pacing throughout the episodes all over the place. Weak supporting cast and terrible writing. The WORST show ever. I cannot comprehend how anyone could think this show is worth watching.

This film is undeserving of the praise it received. Boring and uninteresting in every imaginable way. A failed celebration of derangement culminating in the end with an act of cowardice. There was no depth, only subcutaneous attempts at shock. It was predictable and boring.

Pure genius. It seems like South Korea is the hub for truly amazing entertainment right now. Kingdom and Sweet Home set the bar for this genre. Kudos to Netflix for bringing this masterpiece to their platform!!!

So much more than you would think.

This show is utterly fantastic. The evolution of the characters over the course of 10 episodes is done subtly but in a manner you grasp by the time you're done. This series is so much more than what you would expect and puts other shows of the same genre to shame. You'll run the full gambit of emotions and be left wanting more. 10 out of 10 and truly hoping for a season 2.

Highly recommended. The creeping feeling of ever infringing isolation coupled with the supernatural works well. Very well done.

Solid character driven movie. Humorous, good pace throughout and just the right amount of suspense. If you like movies like Club Dread and Shawn of the Dead this will probably tickle your fancy.

Unexpected excellence.

A wonderful film that I certainly wouldn't say is a comedy. The film's moving as it's devoted to the human will, what it can endure, what it can overcome in the most dire of circumstances when need be. I feel as though it's a testament to the human experience. Life can hit you hard, over and over again, and you have to get back up, that's the message I gleaned. Cummings portrays his character with masterful skill, at no point did I think I was watching a film, I was all in and I truly hope we see more of him. This is a story of hope even though at times it is hard to see it.
