Shaft (2019)

Refreshing movie but what a damn noise!

What nice to see a movie that doesn't care if it is politically correct or not. It makes the characters all the more beleivable.

The story was fun, almost 80's action-movie fun. The action was decent and not too overwhelming so why not rate it higher than a 7? Well.....

The music was just so darn annoying. Not being a fan of hip-hop music I can normally live with it in movies, but here it was just so darn loud and dominant in the whole movie that it took away part of the fun for me.

Collide (I) (2016)

Really fun action car-movie

Anthony Hopkins really brings some quality to this movie, but otherwise it was a good solid funny entertaining movie to begin with. The plot is not too complicated, the dialogue is not that great, but hey, this is a car/chase/action movie and it does what I want from this kind of movies good; great car chases with nice cars (I guess Nicholas Hoult was not paid for this movie but rewarded in drivetime in some great cars at the autobahn), a decent yet thin story and simple character-development that lets you like the good guys and loathe the bad.

If you are in for a nice movie with some action, you like cars and just want to be entertained then this is a great movie to watch. I gave it 9 stars to get the rating up a bit, but it definately deserves 7 just for entertainment value.

Blade Runner 2049 (2017)

Hoped for a worthy sequel

I really really wanted this movie to be good. However Blade Runner 2049 has turned out to be a slow, long and uninteresting experience.

Although the visuals are really great and make you watch in awe, the storyline is just too weak and the action too little. This movie is just not at all in the same league as the original Blade Runner.

The Spirit of Christmas (2015 TV Movie)

A different christmas story

This movie is quite enjoyable due to the fact that the story is so delightfully different then most christmas movies. Sure, thereæs the hot girl who can't find the lov of her live, there's the handsome fellow she falls in love with and of course the setting is in a peacefull beautiful inn on the countryside covered in snow but the story itself is now and then even spooky and grim.

I will not blow it by adding spoilers, but if you're in to a christmas movie that is differnet and surprising with good acting of almost all the players, here's the one to watch.

Christmas Inheritance (2017)

Exactly what I expected

This definately is what a christmas movie should be. The story is simple, a rich young engaged woman who has it all in her life and is about to inherrit her fathers company has to deliver christmas letters to her dad's old businesspartner in the small town she was born and her dad started his company. However, she can't say who whe really is and only gets 100 dollar to use. Soon she learns that richness isn't to take for granted and of course she meets a super nice guy and falls for him.

The characters are easy to like and the story has a nice pace to it. The small town is very christmas-like and it just is the sort of film you can watch with the whole family. Ultimate family movie.
