Arrow: Fadeout (2020)
After 8 years
8 years ago I sat down the watch the pilot. I grew with these characters and this finale was a great service to fans like me who have been here since day 1.
Some of the writing of this show has been questionable but the writing of Oliver Queens' character was near perfect. Seeing his transformation from vigilante to hero is one we can relate with. As Lance said, "his story gives us hope that we can all change".
Oliver's time on the island has always been a mystery to those around him like felicity which is why that ending of Oliver about to tell her his whole story felt so satisfying.
So for me it is a happy goodbye to Arrow
Titans: Conner (2019)
An episode with alot of character
I can't believe how well done this episode was it almost felt like i was watching a movie. From the cinematography , the writing and even the acting. We have an episode packed with action and character development for the shows best origin story yet. The chemistry between Conner and Krypto, the meeting with Lionel Luther at the farm and the constant morale debate of good versus bad in the episode gave this episode a lot of character.
How I Met Your Mother (2005)
A show which on some days will have you laughing and others crying
By nature HIMYM is a sitcom and always manages to deliver timeless jokes leaving you laughing till your heart hurts. But HIMYM is so much more than that, this is a story about friendships and the joys and pains of growing up. Never have i watched a show with such well written character developments.
This show does a great job of making you care for these characters, so when they are happy so are you and when they are sad so are you.
Titans (2018)
An original fresh take on what a superhero team is like
We live in a time were superheros getting together in an epic team up is whats in style and demand. The MCU did it, DCEU have done it and even the CW network have their annual episode crossover. Eventually it all feels very repetitive.
However, Titans gives off a very different taste in a dark reboot of these characters, who with every passing episode gain more and more character depth.
My personal favourite is obviously Dick Grayson with the perfect casting option and great writing for the character in general. Hawk and Dove are also very interesting characters. Season 2 made characters who seemed shallow in season 1 more interesting (Donna Troy in particular).
Its one of those shows that just keeps getting better and better the more you watch
Lucifer: Somebody's Been Reading Dante's Inferno (2019)
Back and Better
So happy with how season 4 is unfolding, with various interesting stroylines unfolding already in these first two episodes. I also really like Chloe's reaction to Lucifer really being the devil, thought it was alot more realistic than Linda's reaction.
Supernatural: Moriah (2019)
Oh God!
Season 15 being the last episode of the show, I cannot think of a better way of ending season 14. The Winchesters have faced some powerful foes in the past...but I just can't wait to see how their final showdown against God will end!!! God killed Jack with no problem proving just how powerful he is and undid all the work of the Winchesters in the past 14 years... This was definitely one of the greatest season finales of supernatural as it sets up the last season perfectly and to see that Michael was right all along about God just being a writer who wants a show... simply amazing... i have never been more excited for a supernatural season! Unreal.
Arrow: Confessions (2019)
Very Clever Episode
Its very rare these days that Arrow uses clever story telling techniques like they did in this episode. And I can't remember the last time Arrow had me so intrigued in an episode. The whole episode we get distorted versions of a story from team Arrow as they cover up for Roy (as we find out at the end). But meanwhile all the audience is wondering what the hell actually happened. I just love the way this episode was told, as each character recalls events from their perspective.
Everything Roy did was great, from his parkour to him simply being reunited with the team. Loved the plot twist at the end too. More if this please Arrow!
Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (2017)
the Marvel intro was more enjoyable than this entire movie
Everything about this movie was bad, from the story all the way to the terrible acting. This movie gives me no incentive to watch the 9, and am not the least bit interested to see were the story is going.
Without a doubt the worst Star Wars movie ever made.
Arrow: Life Sentence (2018)
Amazing ending... And that's about it
Throughout the season they have been hinting great potential for Diaz as the villain, and it would only make sense to bring him at his best in the finale. And yet he hardly even appears in this episode. Nope instead they focus on Oliver shaking hands with team members who quite frankly ruined season 6.
No one can deny the spectacular ending, which seems like the only thing the writers focused on in this messy episode. It was a very risky move and lets hope the writers don't ruin it like they ruined the season 5 finale in the season 6 premier episode by making no 'fallout' to an entire island being blown up.
Arrow: Fundamentals (2018)
Best Season 6 Episode
For the first time since season 3, the episode was focused on the character of Oliver and Oliver alone. For the first time this season we see some character development for Oliver and get a nostalgic take back to his past.
Bringing back Prometheus as the narrator of his hallucinations was the cherry on top as Adrian knew Oliver's mental state better than anyone as a villain.
Easily 10/10, season 6 finally gets a direction.
Arrow (2012)
A relatable character which grows with you
I have been watching Arrow since the pilot aired. Arrow portrays a dark version of Oliver Queen fighting his demons which I felt I could relate with, and it shows his path from vigilante to hero and it was great to see how much he developed as a character.
I felt I have grown with these character and despite some low points occurring in season 4 and 6, Arrow still delivers a great story of identity and heroism.
Justice League (2017)
Extremely Enjoyable! Exceeded my expectations (SPOILERS)
I was very skeptical going into this movie. Wasn't liking what I had seen in the trailers and it seemed that Snyder still hadn't learned his lesson. Like every movie Justice League had it's flaws, but overall I loved every second of it. In 2 hours I a grew attached to each of the member of the JL(even Cyborg who was one of the great highlights of this movie for me). The thing I loved most about this movie however, was Superman! They finally got him right!! A touch from the old Christopher Reeve Superman blended in with Henry Cavill's bad ass superman. Absolutely loved it!
