We will never forget you,Ekvtime
I do not want to talk about this film, because I do not know english very well.I do not know what to say.Ekvtime Takaishvili was and still is a national hero for my people, for me and will be for my kids. This film shows his difficult way to save national treasure of Georgia. He was saint, scientist, patriot and at least-man.I wish, that all people in the world be like Ekvtime Takaishvili and love their own country like Ekvtime Takaishvili.Watch this movie and enjoy the great cinematography experience from also great man and honorable director Rezo Tabukashvili.
Le voyage dans la lune (1902)
Georges Melies: First Wizard of Cinema 1896-1913
I love his films.Just love. So,my review's of his films will be same,Pardon me for my laziness and repetition, but I can't something new, because his films are the same in fact, each his film is the great magic presentation(no story, just illusion) and you must watch all of them in one breath. He made a huge impact on world culture.here is quote from Wikipedia: "Walt Disney, on being presented with the Legion of Honour in 1936, expressed gratitude to Méliès and his fellow pioneer Émile Cohl, saying they "discovered the means of placing poetry within the reach of the man in the street."Terry Gilliam has called Méliès "the first great film magician," adding: "His joyous sense of fun and ability to astound were a big influence on both my early animations and then my live- action films
Of course, Méliès still has a tight creative grip on me." The 2007 novel The Invention of Hugo Cabret, and 2011 film Hugo based on it, center on the later life of Méliès, who is played by Ben Kingsley in the film.Méliès was inducted into the Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame in 2015.
Kickassia (2010)
like :)
Molossia, also known as the self-proclaimed Republic of Molossia, is a micro-nation, founded by Kevin Baugh and headquartered solely from his home near Dayton, Nevada. The Republic of Molossia has claimed itself a nation but it is not officially recognized as a country by the United Nations or any country"-I read it on Wikipedia and was surprised that,"country" molozya really exists :D I do not know, why people in reviews say, that "this is a bad movie","why?what for?" etc. I experienced a lot of fun watching "this",it was great, but I agree, that this is mostly for fans of nostalgia critic, nostalgia chick and so on. It was funny and in other ways history of all big emperors-This all forms of dictatorship magnificent satire:) watch "this" and enjoy!
Data Tutashkhia (1977)
Life is what you remember, and the rest is just existence...
This is one of the most tragic story, written in Georgia. the protagonist is Data Tutashkhia, who chooses the path of life outside the law, outlaws are happening and for many years the king manages to hide from the gendarmes. His cousin Mushni Zarandia other choice it's the law,and gendarmes officials prefer to work occurs. The action of the novel unfolds around a complex relationship with these two people. The story gradually becomes more and more severe, heightened confrontation between the brothers and the external enemies, plus with meaningful dialog's and excellent acting performances,we are deeply becoming enmeshed in the atmosphere of the film ... I recommend to see this 7 serial-film and you really enjoy it!It's more then film,it's life...our life...
Jariskatsis mama (1964)
Strong, hard, realistic...
This movie is simply a masterpiece! Loving father searching his son, war, heavy atmosphere,music-all of this gives the film a unique charm, which is why we can freely call it Georgian Masterpiece. In addition to Rezo Chkheidze's direction, must be mentioned the great performance of Sergo Zakariadze-this is the main reason, why we love this film,i think. It is true that I am Georgian, and I was watching the film may be a little subjective, but I think this film is not only for Georgians, but for those, who knows what is war and losing your own son... I advise everyone to see this true Georgian classic, which gives the viewer the unique emotions and forever endears itself.
