Je-3-ui Mae-ryeok (2018)
Excellent, but change the categories, please
It is excellent, the protagonists are excellent too. I've liked very much a male role different. The series is underrated. The problem is that's too much "realistic" to be comedy. This is a drama about a romance, the persistence of jealousy and insecurity problems that both protagonists show, seem like they are teenagers rather than contemporary adults. The audience is not prepared to see such kind of existential confusion. As said, is not a romantic series with an easy happy ending. Thus, when the public read confident the description and its categorization as such "comedy" and "romantic"...
it seemed as a huge disappointment and disrespect, of course!
Siempre Bruja (2019)
What a shame!
Unfortunately, I was watching simultaneously "Locke & Key", and "Always a Witch" is truly bad by comparison. It's a unbelievable mixture of poorly acting, fluffy scripts and lazy productions.
First season was about an epic love, very epic, which to save itself by transcending the time. In the second season, that love disappears without pain or glory, substituted by a flat and cliche story of pirates.
Many bad performances, that of "Carmen" and "Jhonny Ki" is painful most of the time.
Fate: The Winx Saga (2021)
Not more fate like this
A school under attack, a crazy genocidal liberated, people dead... all without problems... because a powerful 'teen' is very, very, very determined to solve her identity crisis.
