Watchmen (2019)
10/10
Would be nice if people actually read the books
26 December 2019
If you read the books you would know how political the Watchmen series is. Anyone saying this is bad because of politics is either to thin skinned to have anything enter their brain they don't agree with and or haven't read the actual books. If you had read the books you would have known what you were getting yourself into.

A lot of the storyline is from "The Button;" And "Doomsday Clock series" also a little bit of "before Watchmen" sprinkled in.

The Watchmen is a Political Satire Graphic Novel. Either grow a thicker skin or continue to only watch media that agrees with your bias.

If you think this is offensive you need to look up Satire in the dictionary
25 October 2019
This is fantastic Political Satire; we need to be able use Satire in the correct way and Waititi did just that. If you think this movie is offensive here is Satires definition:

Satire 1 a literary work holding up human vices and follies to ridicule or scorn 2 trenchant wit, irony, or sarcasm used to expose and discredit vice or folly

Batwoman (Kate Kane) is gay in the comics people please read the comics!
15 October 2019
To anyone not expecting Batwoman (Kate Kane) to be LGBTQ you obviously never read the comics. I wish people would actually read the books before saying the shows are bad.

Hollywood isn't shoving anything down your throats people. The character in the actual Comics named Kate Kane is of Jewish descent in and as a lesbian. After DC Rebirth events, it is established that Kate Kane is a cousin of Batman's alter-ego Bruce Wayne and thus a niece of his mother Martha Wayne. Described as the highest-profile gay superhero to appear in stories published by DC.

Kate Kane is introduced as Batwoman in As Kate Kane) 52 #7 (August 2006) (As Batwoman)52 #11 (September 2006)

NOT A "DC FAN BOY" but an early screener; people can see movies before released to the public NO SPOILERS
22 September 2019
For those who are saying "how you can rate this movie without seeing it your just a DC Fanboy" you must not understand how the movie industry works. They allow people to screen movies early to get a feel for how audiences will receive the movie, they allow critics to see the movie early and also early screening for promotional purposes. The only reason your being ignorant to how the movie industry works is bc you don't like the political message of the film. If it was Captain Marvel you wouldn't be saying a word. This movie was fantastic especially the ending, but please see it for yourselves when available to the entire public.

In the end we must be able to laugh at ourselves
31 August 2019
Mr. Chappelle has always walked a thin line. As a comedian that his how you push the envelope. From shows like South Park to Chapelle Show. We laugh at things that don't hurt us but in the end we must also be able to laugh at ourselves or else we shouldn't be laughing at anything at all. Being offended by comedy is like being mad at the sun for shining to brightly. Either put on some sunglasses or don't watch it and stay in your little protected bubble.

Bad reviews r just butthurt by what Larson said
10 March 2019
Movie was really well done, been collecting comics since I was 6 back in 1996. A lot of fun nostalgia and the people who are hating on the movie and it's lead don't know the character from the comics and are just butthurt by what Larson said and how it was taken out of context and blown out of proportion by the media. Go enjoy the marvel movie for what it is; another great addition to the MCU

If you don't know all "reality shows" are scripted your a moron
18 February 2019
Everyone who is complaining that this is "Fake" then shouldn't watch any show on TV or Streaming services they are all scripted. Every single "reality show," Sorry to burst your false reality is scripted; Pawn Stars, American Pickers, Counting Car's, WWE, Survivor, just look at the IMBD for all if these shows and you will find many "actors." Get off your high horse and enjoy the entertainment. If you don't know Every show on History Chanel is scripted and every reality show ever is scripted then your are in the fake reality lol

Don't get discouraged by losers with no lives leaving bad reviews
16 July 2018
Warning: Spoilers
His show is NOT a myth busters ripoff; myth busters did all sorts of different tests on their show ranging from "Wives Tales" to Conspiracy Theory while this show ONLY focuses on movie weapon and specific scenes they are used in to see if it could actually work in real life. For example in Alien where the big guy shoots the Mini gun while carrying it (not possible in real life as test on this show)

This show is so much fun!! Terry and Larry are a great duo of opposite personalities that make the show funny and at the same time extremely interesting to learn about

The pilot is really cool you meet some of the cast from Criminal minds and they test if you can shoot a gun through a car windshield like in one of the CM episodes where Hodgner shoots the unsub through the windshield underwater. This show grabbed me at first bc I'm a big Criminal Minds fan but also loved myth busters but wanted more Hollywood scenes and movie weapons.

Please give this show a try! U will not be disappointed

I loved the Video Game & The Movie does it Justice
6 July 2018
Warning: Spoilers
From George to ralpha and spoiler Alert Lizzie shows up with a huge bang. This movie is a classic video game turned to real life and it's a lot of fun!! I really enjoyed the 2D game when I was a kid and I was shocked they were going to make a movie out of it first off bc there really wasn't much of a plot in the game. You chose one of 2 characters, and star recking the city. They did a fine job with plot to make it have some story but the real heart is the city destruction scenes. Like out of the game you get tanks flying, buildings falling and a whole lot of squishy army men to step on. If you were expecting and oscar movie, go watch a Meryl Streep flick. This is classic explosions at its finest.
