Weird: The Al Yankovic Story (2022)
WEIRD was ALWAYS the new cool!
...And this movie was definitely WEIRD! To me, this was a parody of Yankovic's life. Written by Weird Al himself, it had all the humor that he put into every song he wrote...or should I say REwrote...a laugh every minute, sometime subtle, sometimes right on the mark. The acting in this movie was incredible, and the absurdness, if that's a word, was in your face funny! There were lots of famous people ALSO parodied, and you never had to wonder who it was. From PeeWee Herman to "even Queen" bassist, John Deacon, every actor was comically spot on with their portrayal. All in all, an extremely enjoyable movie!
Alpha Rift (2021)
1st half Hokey, second half picked up...
It sure won't win any Oscors, and maybe it's just me, ( ok, trolls, ATTACK ) but I didn't think it was that bad. Watch it as a comedy, backed by a not bad story premise at all. And Lance Henriksen was his usual bad ass self. Give it a chance. That's why I'm giving 5 stars to the movie. It deserves that!
Red Notice (2021)
Its just a great movie!
Explosions, gunfire, chases, and LOTS of laughs! What's not to like??? Ryan Renolds is a laugh a minute, and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is his usual funny self. Don't miss it! It's well worth the watch!
Hunters (2021)
Wow! Really Bad!
As I was watching, this is what popped into my mind:
Wow...what would I rather be doing than watching this movie....oh, ya, hurtling through the windshield at 55 miles an hour....
waste of time. Watch paint dry...more exciting than this mess of a movie. POORLY acted.
The Rebels of PT-218 (2021)
THE ASYLUM finally made a good movie!
I liked it. It wasn't MIDWAY quality, but it was a good movie all the way through. The acting was ok, and Eric Roberts was awesome as Lt. Snow. I'd recommend it.
Devil Djinn (2021)
FFS!
This movie was UNBELIEVABLY bad. I love horror movies, and the only thing horrifying about this was that it was made. TERRIBLE movie. Don't waste your time.
Aliens Ate My Homework (2018)
Better than the dog...
AAMH has a lot of good elements in it. Some good acting, some not so good. What amazed me is after just 5 minutes in, I HAD to keep watching. There's a few laughs, some comedic sequences, a fairly loose plot that was easy to whirl around in. Definitely one for the younger bunch.
