I watched it when I was 12 and it was amazing,10 years later I had to check again and they are still amazing. Especially for that time and that is telenovela, those rebels were made to be seen by teenagers and all obstacles were relateble plus I love the songs! Don't watch the new version of the show if you don't wanna a disappointment.

I heard about this show and decided to give a chance because I thought it could be cool for nowdays teenagers and I was a little bit nostaligic about old ones so I decided to watch. Anyways... In old series you could relate about arguing with your folks, with your peers, ''problems'' in love , all those now cute experiences which are always interesting to watch 'cause there is always drama. Actors in old Rebelde weren't actors because I still believe Mia, Roberta and rest of the squad exist!!( joking but that's how good they acted)
This show with better equipment and opportunities to make A BETTER version has only brought me sadness because it's not even in the same level although in old series you can see so many technical mistakes in filming and producing but you don't care since their stories are so uniquely portrayed by every actor.
All those chicos Mia, Roberta, Lupita, Giovanni, Diego and Miguel had different stories, but in all their differences they unite in music and rebelion. All those topics were appropriate for teenagers and kissing was maximum of ''sensitive'' scenes. In this show you will watch zero chemistry and explicit scenes for 13+ age limit??? I mean, that wasn't necessary, nudity is cheap clickbait, they should show how hard can it be to make friends, real friends, how awful is to feel injustice, nepotism and other ''problems'' teenagers struggle. On the other side those who have ''more rights'', we should've seen that their life is not also happy and that they are also struggling with their own problems although they ''have it all'' so you can remember that every story has different sides except this one in the show, this only has one and it's disappointing. I was only talking about plot and I know I didn't write much about it because it is all happening very fast without explanations and logic sequences. I don't wanna start about music and songs... I just can't... This was too much. I hope they don't make more episodes.
