Have You Heard of Christmas? (2022)
So funny
After listening to Matt Rogers Christmas album, and finding it brilliant and hilarious, my wife and I decided to watch his Christmas special. It contains the same songs, and showcases Matt's ability to perform in front of a crowd. It's incredible. The guy can freaking sing, and his songs are funny as hell. Please watch this and listen to his album.
My favorite songs are Lube for the Sleigh (it's about how Santa needs lube to fit all the presents in the sleigh). My wife's favorite song is about how Mrs. Clause suspects santa of cheating, and is dumb and can't do math. Honestly, there isn't a bad song in the bunch. There are a couple songs on the album that aren't in this, but it's still brilliant.
Endangered (2020)
Surprisingly awesome movie
Twists galore. Rented it for $5 and are so glad we did! Highly recommend it. I didn't know what to expect, but some of the reviews said it was a good indie thriller. They nailed it. The filmmakers did a great job on a small budget, and told a compelling story. Great job.
Safer at Home (2021)
So bad
Sooooooo bad. 😂
The acting was horrific. The plot was so bad. It was one of the worst movies I've seen, and I watch horrible movies all the time. Like all the time. I'm an idiot. And I still thought this sucked.
I Care a Lot (2020)
Awesome movie
This movie ruled! It had such a unique premise. The acting was awesome. Rosemund Pike channeled her inner Jordan Belforte throughout the whole movie. Dinklage was amazing. It's dark and funny. Highly recommend.
The Russian Bride (2018)
HIGHLY recommend this if you like You're Next
I HIGHLY recommend this if you were a fan of You're Next. It's got a fun story, awesome characters and a FANTASTIC ending. The movie is ridiculous but it's highly enjoyable if you're a fan of goofy horror movies.
Eraser (1996)
Very entertaining movie
This movie is awesome! I watch it once every couple years and every time I'm reminded about how entertaining it is. The graphics are pretty bad, but it came out 22 years ago. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for an entertaining action movie with an interesting plot.
Paper Dragons (1996)
Big Trouble in Little Renner!
I came across this movie when I was browsing Amazon Prime's movies. Big Trouble in Little China is my favorite movie, so when I saw it had three actors from that movie in this, I had to see it. When I looked up the cast, I was shocked. It has Lo Pan, Egg Shen and Rain from Big Trouble In Little China. It also features Jeremy Renner, the lead in the show Cold Case, as well as the great, Vegetable Lasagne, from Seinfeld! Oh, and also the best part of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Secret of the Ooze, Ernie Reyes Jr, who oozes charisma as the best fighter in the monastery.
The first five minutes are pretty rough, but once the story gets going, it's actually a really enjoyable movie. It follows a drug dealer who gets "assassinated", only to be found by some monks and nursed back to health. They teach him their ways, and he goes from being a bum to a good man.
I don't want to spoil anything, because the story is fun to watch unfold. I will just say that the writer/director/star of the movie did a great job with this movie. It's low budget, but he was able to make a very enjoyable movie.
I highly recommend it!
