The Sword That Kills
31 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
What an explosive episode ! Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira come in swinging. Beale gives us the Echelon Briefing, which provides long awaited reveals and payoffs. The whole scene was extremely tense and well done. The explosion, and how Rick and Michonne brought it together was a marvel to behold. I love the little flashbacks scenes we got, and even the camera pulling out over the little trailer where Rick and Michonne stood, like they did before in the pilot and other episodes like Mercy, where Negan and Gabe were trapped inside. Cool little throwbacks. For something years in the making, the episode, and the series as a whole, delivered all the thrills and the solid writing we'd come to expect. And of course, Rick reuniting with Judith was the best thing ever. Don't think otherwise, wow.

Impactful and solid
24 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Wow. This almost felt like going back to the OG Walking Dead's roots. Just two great characters surviving in a cabin and meeting characters in the woods, while there's a big threat overshadowing it all. Father Gabriel was a fantastic surprise, and was implemented into the plot in a meaningful fashion, as it was meant to develop Anne's story. I don't know man, this episode was low key really sad, and the fact I cared as much for Anne at the end is a testament of the great vision the writers had for this episode in particular. It felt rewarding at times, more desperate at others. Relentless episode and super engaging from start to finish. I can't wait to see where it all leads !

Unlike anything we've seen on The Walking Dead before
17 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
What We is a riveting masterclass in acting, giving us powerful performances by Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira. It explores the psychology aspect of things, and is one of the deepest episodes of TV I've seen, bottling it up in one location, and allowing us to really soak in and absorb the moment. It's like you're in there, in any given space, and it could be with you, me, or any couple, and it's relatability in spades. You observe the conflict, and it just gets so real. The feeling of having lost someone, or not recognizing a loved one is devastating and terrible to live with. You feel like a knot is crushing your gut, and you think as there is no way out, no light at the end of the issue. Truth is, when there is a will, there is a way out. A way to break in, to deal with the new state of things. Because, yes, things have changed. Rick has changed. There are events that occured and you can't control that. These things are out of your reach. But what you can do is focus on what you can change, and work as a duo. It truly moves the audience, as it just feels more hopeless by the minute. And then, finally, there is a glimmer of hope. Rick steps out the door. Beautiful.

Michonne's Days Gone Bye
3 March 2024
The Ones Who Live keeps the bar really high in terms of acting, storytelling, writing and plot progression. In her search for Rick, Michonne encounters allies and foes, but never gives up. Her heart on her sleeve, she has to make choices, and tragic consequences occur. Danai Gurira acted her ass off and continues to shine and to be one of the shining lights of TWD Universe. As she gets closer to Officer Friendly, she loses hope, but the destination is more than worth it. So many questions still. It's just the beginning. I can't wait to see where they bring the story in the upcoming episodes, but the solidity of the series so far is extremely encouraging.

Andrew Lincoln is a treasure
25 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Wow, this episode is actually insane. Rick Grimes is back ! I can't believe how good the cinematography is. The story is great and we witness a lot of captivating scenes. Five minutes in and you're already in absolute shock. The scene where Rick cuts his own hand is one of the craziest scenes and calls back to The Day Will Come When You Won't Be ! Absolute payoff. Masterful. And it works because it makes so much sense when you watch it. Scott Gimple's approach is effective. Well done. Andrew Lincoln gets back into Rick like no time has passed. His acting is spectacular, powerful and poignant. Okafor is a phenomenal character, and we've only known him for one episode ! Rick and Michonne's reunion at the end is breathtaking. I couldn't believe how emotional it was. Well done !

Brilliant homage to the movie !
22 November 2023
What a comeback ! Juno Temple is splendid like always. God, I missed those accents. Such a great homage to Fargo (the movie). The vibes were almost exactly the same at some point. The use of lighting is unmatched. The store scene was tense af and brilliantly done. We even got some droplets of the Fargo theme from Season 1 !

Dot is definitely hiding something and keeping some secrets. The quality is up there, and I'm intrigued to find out what happens next and to get some answers. There is still a lot to unpack here. The directing is superb. The episode does a great job at getting you invested. Well done !

Loki: 1893 (2023)
Season 2, Episode 3
10/10
Best episode this season I don't care !
20 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Following Victor, a Kang Variant, felt really significant. The fact Ravonna and Miss Minutes set Victor on that path from a very young age was insane. Miss Minutes turns out to be absolutely psychotic and frightening, what the absolute heck.

Sylvie has excellent character development here, as Loki and Mobius manage to get Victor back to the TVA. But we got some seeds of the fact he might be evil or have a darker side at least when he left Ravonna behind. The shades are so interesting here, as there is nothing black or white. Just grey. Everyone has lost it.

Who knows what'll happen next ? And that ending, that cliffhanger, was effin evil, are you serious ?

Marvelous, marvelous !

Experience Like No Other
14 October 2023
You have to see it to understand how impactful The Eras Tour can be. The concert film is a masterclass in every sense of the term. The astonishing production only enhances the experience, where the sets are so well put together the loud songs blend perfectly with the folk songs and it all feels perfectly natural. Taylor Swift's presence is extraordinary and the songs are so heartfelt you can feel the passion and care the artist has put into them.

There is so much to unpack here as to why this constitutes a cohesive experience reaching into the hearts of people from multiple generations. But be sure you will feel all of the emotions. You feel joy and warmth and sadness. There is nothing like it. The immersion will swallow you whole and you will ask yourself where the heck 2 hours and 49 minutes went. Bring your friends, your family, your loved ones, or go experience it alone and feel the music. If it's too late for theater, then streaming is a perfectly good option, you won't regret it.

He's Back !
6 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
What a fantastic premiere ! Loki picks back up right where it left us. The stakes, the tension and everything has more urgency than ever. Our heroes are running against time in more ways than one. When Loki finally gets to the right spot, the main goal is to have a Loki who Remains and stops disappearing.

O. B. Is quite the character and fits right in. There's a particular sequence going between past and present, or present and future, depending, that is so well done and where O. B. progressively remembers certain elements. It was amazingly written.

Owen Wilson is still as likable as ever as Mobius and proves one more time he is ready to do anything to save his friend. What a wholesome friendship. There was so much tension in the Temporal Loom, it was insane.

Sylvie gets to experience life like for the first time ever, and you can't help yourself being emotional when she utters the last line of the episode : "I wanna try everything". Wow. Let's Go for another amazing season I'm sure !

The Style !
21 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Greta Gerwig's style is jumping through the screen. The cinematography and set designs are brilliant here, as Barbie goes from Barbie World to the real world. Gotta say, it's particularly touching. I didn't expect to get emotional but the movie got me one or two times. Margot Robbie is a star as always, and her acting absolutely delivers, showing the inner conflicts of the character, all in nuance and sincerity.

This film is definitely not for kids, as it focuses on problems and dilemmas adults have to deal with. The writing isn't perfect by any means, but overall Barbie is a pretty fun adventure.

Oppenheimer (I) (2023)

All Timer
21 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Resounding applause for such a well crafted movie. This might be Christopher Nolan's best entry yet. Snappy, well thought and energetic, Oppenheimer never lets its foot off the gas. Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey Jr are absolute juggernauts. You feel each cut, each stare, each word said.

The stress expertly overwhelms the audience through insanely good edits and music. The sound design is exceptional. It just all feels so natural and earned. The tension is through the roof and you feel that with every nuance this film brings.

Cillian's looks and expressions are just perfect. This guy brings his A Game like never before, same for Robert. The security clearance bit is gripping and intense. It's pretty shocking to be honest. The drama is real and the tone is adequately overbearing and gloomy.

At the end of the film, you're just in awe. Truly a memorable experience and unforgettable achievement.

Smashing Beginning
15 June 2023
Warning: Spoilers
They knocked it out of the park. Lauren and Jeffrey are still brilliant as ever. The cinematography is amazing.

The story is pretty clear. It was done before, but we get to explore the absolute beauty and incertainty of Manhattan. The scenery is gorgeous, and that intro is spectacular.

Hershel's actor seems to be excellent, really holding his own, against the new villain, which is interesting and mysterious. An ex Savior Negan knew before.

Maggie's shoes were surprising in this episode, you'll know what I mean. The episode was solid, an introduction for sure, but well done. I'm curious to see where it all leads, and definitely excited for the rest !

Barry: wow (2023)
Season 4, Episode 8
10/10
One of the Most Unique Endings to a TV Series Ever
29 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Barry delivers shock after shock in this eclectic finale. That was definitely something...

Fuches learns Barry has a son and wants to protect John, but, at the same time, he can't stand Hank's hypocrisy. A shootout ensues and bullets fly everywhere. On a truly memorable piece of imagery, Noho Hank dies with his hand in Cristobal's (well the statue version of him). Fuches looks at Barry in a scene reminiscing of a specific moment in Breaking Bad's Felina.

Sally escapes and eventually leaves Barry alone, wanting him to do the right thing on the Gene front. But that ends up being the death of the protagonist, as Barry shows up at Gene's place, looking for his kid. However, Tom informs him John isn't there, and tries to preach for Gene. Barry then finally gives in to do the right thing, and suggests the cops are called, but Gene turns into a psychotic killer and shoots him...

As Barry tries to redeem himself, Mr Cousineau delivers a fatal head shot. And he waits, therefore forfeiting his life and freedom. It's so surreal. Then, we cut to the future, and Sally is successful. John goes to his friend's and they watch a movie... It is THE movie, and the story unfolds before your eyes, in a mostly comedic way. But the whole portrait is depicting what people think happen. And then you get to see the lines at the end of this film, depicting where the characters ended up.

Barry's name will be remembered and honored forever. Gene's name has been soiled and completely destroyed. The credits come in with military bugle and orchestra.

Excellent episode, it felt so unique and different. Lots of shocking moments and scenes that felt almost unreal or dreamy like. Never something I would have predicted in a thousand years to be honest.

Succession: America Decides (2023)
Season 4, Episode 8
10/10
Political Thriller
15 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
America is about to elect the new President. ATN is on high alert, and the Roy siblings are overseeing the narrative.

This episode was superbly presented and interwoven together. Roman has an affiliation with Mencken. An incident occurs, leading into a loss of ballots, and decisions have to be made quickly.

Shiv and Greg have a meeting and some threats are thrown. That doesn't sit with Greg, and we get my favorite scene of the episode, with Kendall learning her sister has been on Matsson's side all this time.

Once again, it was great. Now, I really don't know what is going to happen or how the showrunners are going to book end every loose end before the end. I have faith in the writers, but maybe it is the point. There will always be some fighting and conflicts happening, and there will never be a real clear cut ending to the skirmishes. And so, the CEO role will always be hanging in the balance.

Never Ending Wheel

Warning: Spoilers
XYZ does something inconvenient, ABC character has to eliminate him. Then ABC settles for a bit, but ABC does something inconvenient and other folks come in to deal with them. No matter what they do, how they want to escape the past or whatever, there will always be a situation to bring them back on the road.

Barry season 4 has a lot of the same feels as Better Call Saul season 6. This episode felt very much like its own Gene Takavic or Waterworks story arc. Gotta say it was done so well. Very unique for sure. It definitely stands out. And there are plenty of fantastic moments.

It's mind blowing. Barry and Sally are living their new life. They're still in hiding after all this time, and maybe Gene should have done the same, but the desire to put it all on film and getting a deal with Warner Bros triggers a Google Alert on Sally's device. It's interesting to say the least and the new situation is really well acted. You feel in every performance what really transpires in our protagonists' minds.

I Don't Like You
8 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Things are falling apart everywhere. Tailgate Party literally feels like Kill List part 2. Shiv and Tom host a little fiesta in their house, but the mood switches real quick.

Kendall and Roman are doing their best to oversee the company. Lukas has skeletons in his closet. He might just be a front after all. Gerri decides to quit on her own terms, not without laying the ground rules, threatening Roman in the process. Connor stands by Willa's side, which makes me so happy.

Turmoil is just beginning when Tom claims he has had enough. Shiv follows him outside and they lay everything on the table. Once again, Matthew and Sarah blew everything out of the park. The dice are thrown and next episode looks like a game changer. Can't wait !

Succession: Living+ (2023)
Season 4, Episode 6
10/10
One of my favorites this season !
1 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Living+ is a great episode, full of great subtext and development. From the beginning, you feel it's about to be quite memorable.

Roman and Kendall coming in full swing and getting the ball rolling is super exciting to see. Shiv and Tom have great chemistry moments this episode. The whole build-up to Ken's presentation is superbly done.

It's sort of amazing seeing this side of Roman, where he is no longer taking abuse from anyone and he goes more aggressive. The Gerri scene leaves an impression.

With Logan gone, Karl takes the opportunity to go full attack mode and tries to one up Kendall by threatening him. You get to see that, even though you might have felt bad for characters under Logan before, these guys still have a more vicious side just waiting to come out to step over the next little guy.

Kendall's speech was great. It brought back some Season 3 vibes (or even S2), with it being performed on stage in front of an audience. Tension was filling up the room, and Lukas took his shot to send a worrisome tweet. But seeing the group not crumble under the pressure and respond with their heads held high was quite formidable.

You see the allegiances shifiting or even just the relationships. What is Shiv gonna do with Matsson ? How are we going to handle the Gerri and Karl situations ? What are Greg and Tom's futures ? The soldiers are moving one side or the other, and the ending is still unclear and unpredictable.

Barry: you're charming (2023)
Season 4, Episode 3
10/10
Outstanding Episode... Wow !
24 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Honestly one of the best episodes of the series. You're Charming delivers thrills all over, and then some. The acting is flawless, the tension out of this world, the dialogue completely pierces the screen. What do you want ?

Sally holds her first class, and she appears to be quite brilliant at it. At first, she is nervous, but when people start believing in her, she finds her footing. But she soon starts using some old Gene methods to get the best out of her students. The debate is palpable as you can see both sides of the coin. It is abuse, but without it, this girl wouldn't have gotten that performance out of herself. It's similar to the movie Whiplash in a sense, but on the acting front.

And I guess it is different for each student. I feel like there's different ways you could use. And she could maybe tell her students in advance what her intentions are. Or move to different techniques altogether. I don't know...

You question the habits. It is hard to move on or past these and the characters find themselves stuck. I felt bad for Sally a little bit, but also saw through her method. Trauma keeps creeping in and the struggle is real.

Barry doesn't realize at all what he is doing calling Noho Hank. He can't process what Hank is trying to tell him and oh boy, what a performance. When Hank lays it all out, it is tragically sad, and like the lost of a frienship. They won't be able to come back from that.

Fuches is notified of the intended hit on Barry, and as much as he feels betrayed, he is not in a state of mind where he wants to see his pal die. So he comes forward, and none of the guards take him seriously which added to the tension even more. So frustrating. It seems Jim Moss is unhinged also. The journalist comes out brainwashed or something, and Gene is threatened.

The finale is mindblowing when Barry spots the agent supposed to perform the hit. But the shot backfires and he loses his finger, while his accomplice fires through the roof. The whole room is lit up and the FBI agents are mowed down. Barry gets the guy in the ceiling and escapes. This isn't what Noho Hank planned, but the mission also ends up succesful in the sense where there's no deal anymore. But who knows, maybe there are other FBI agents that will investigate and see right through it all.

Now, with Barry gone, he is probably going to get framed for the murders, unless the ceiling guy was an outsider and not an agent, but then they could also pin Barry as an accomplice for the hit. And if Barry gets out, he is probably gonna try to contact Hank at some point or take his revenge. Or he could do like last season and show up, but step down at the last second and not kill him. Who knows... The myriad of possibilities is absolutely crazy.

And the fact Fuches will end up being the only guy that has Barry's back at the end, mirroring his youth is astonishing. I guess the cycle just repeats itself after all. And after all the boys have been through, maybe they'll end up brothers in arms one last time at the end. Oh boy. Both Barry and Sally have demons in their closets and are trying to escape their past, but glimpses keep pushing through. And bad habits persist. But the struggle is constant and also persisting. What a show...

The Mandalorian: Chapter 24: The Return (2023)
Season 3, Episode 8
8/10
Not mad with this episode !
19 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The Return ends up being a pretty good subdued experience for the viewer. Not gonna lie, I was so worried they were just going to kill Din right then and there, but my fears didn't materialize.

This episode sways very much on the low key side, as opposed to the previous finale we had. But I'm not mad at it. The showrunners finally made a good use of the slow pacing I feel like, as elements started falling into place.

As we learn Moff has been cloning himself, but with the force factor, Din comes face to face with him and Grogu distracts the guards. As it happens, Bo finally comes down and faces Gideon, as the darksaber is crushed, allowing for sharp symbolism notions. Grogu has a Dumbledore moment, containing some fire, which is amazing. The creed is stronger together, and we are led at the end of the episode to the Mandalorians finally taking back their home world.

Din adopts Grogu and has plans of his own, and the series finally allows us to breathe a little from this storyline, book ending Season 3's purpose. But the focus rightfully comes back to Din and Grogu at the end, as this particular adventure or story is concluded and we can move forward to, hopefully, a clearer and less messy, more refined, Season 4.

The Bounty Hunter comes back to the forefront as possibly an independant contractor and this is the tease we're left on. It ain't crazy, but rather treads lightly. And possibilities are left open. The last shot of the episode is splendid and reminiscing of Grogu's training with Luke.

Season 4, Episode 2

New Stakes
17 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
It completes episode 1 masterfully. It's even better I would say. Every line of dialogue about the sand business is freaking hilarious. Sally is more lost than ever and comes to meet Barry, before going to Gene.

Gene performs a play for a Vanity Fair journalist about the whole Barry experience, and the way the journalist sums it up after in like three lines was pitch perfect comedy.

Barry goes against Fuches here, which is crazy. The use of flashbacks and imagined scenes is excellent as always. You feel bad for the characters, and you can see their flaws and their bad sides at the same time.

Noho Hank has a revelation at the end of the episode, which offered one of the best endings yet. The last line shifts the focus and establishes new stakes for the series as a whole. It was so wild and ominous.

Barry: yikes (2023)
Season 4, Episode 1
10/10
Fantastic Start
17 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This episode is relentless. Following the events of season 3, there is a clear shift in tone here and the comedy falls in the background. Everything feels serious and important. The editing, pacing and directing couldn't be more effective. The subtle transitions and the use of silence accentuate the moods and situations.

Barry has to deal with jail. Fuches has some fascinating development and tries to help Barry for once. We also meet Sally's parents, who you almost despise right away, at least the mother. The father doesn't seem all that bad, but he appears kind of clueless or has weird enthusiastic ways of helping his daughter. So you feel bad for her. The callbacks to season 1 when Barry sees Sally on the stairs and such are really well done and fantastic storytelling and we get to see a glimpse of Barry's mind.

Succession: Honeymoon States (2023)
Season 4, Episode 4
10/10
Uncertain States
17 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Picking up right after Logan's death, Honeymoon States dives right into the Succession question. Once again, the writing is sharp and clever. You feel the uncertainty of things right away and it's the awkward phase, when nobody knows what is going to happen next.

Frank, Karl, Gerri, Karolina and co are discussing from one end, and Shiv, Kendall and Roman are doing the same from the other. You see the schemes taking place. The Frank and Karl dynamic was particularly interesting here, and we soon find out there is an ominous piece of paper with mysterious deeds on it.

To see the kids navigate it all and try to stay in the conversation, while the Seniors drop a bomb on them was great. It seems Logan may not have given up on Kendall after all, but who knows... there is no date on the document. Still, it made me happy for Ken.

Roman and Ken both step up as COO's, and take control by interim. Made me feel so bad for Shiv, but it makes sense after all. And then the devious smile at the end was the cherry on top. There is also some Marcia shenanigans sprinkled in throughout, which was interesting as well.

The Mandalorian: Chapter 23: The Spies (2023)
Season 3, Episode 7
9/10
Yes. Yes. Yes.
12 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The Spies was an outstanding episode with forward momentum and great development.

Moff Gideon is back and The Mandalorians would throw a wrench in the Empire's plans. So he gets reinforcements to go to Mandalore and there's the set up.

IG11's sacrifice is not wasted and the showrunners actually find a clever way to turn around our expectations, as the new IG12 will serve as sort of transport for Grogu.

Mission is clear from the get go, and it is finally time to start the real story. The factions encounter each other and a recon mission is in order so the protagonists can start the rebuild.

The pacing is just right as we just hang out with the protagonists as they are on some kind of boat. And going through the motions felt right in that one. It didn't feel rushed or too slow and we even had the chance to stay with Paz and Axe Woves. The conflict felt natural.

But that ending though. The Ambush occurs at the end and Moff has a lot of fighters going off against the Mandos. Bo Katan shows true character, as Din encouraged her, and proved her excellent leadership. But as the group tries to escape, Paz stays behind and fights with every fiber of his being. He succumbs to his enemies and dies in front of us.

So the blocks are starting to build. The Mandalore plot comes finally front and center in the picture. But it wasn't without some twists and turns. Excellent episode. I would say the best of Season 3. Shame the season is ending next week. Hopefully that would give the creative team time to refine their stories and writing for Season 4.

I feel if the writing is solid for the finale, it would even the scales a little bit for the quality of the season as a whole. There are still some issues, but Chapter 23 is a step in the right direction.

Succession: Connor's Wedding (2023)
Season 4, Episode 3
10/10
Television is shaking right now !
10 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Succession just shook the whole tv stratosphere with this memorable episode. Truly one of the most epic in history ! Logan Roy is dead. Still feels like a dream.

The whole episode is obviously about Connor and Wi... wait. Nope. The showrunner had a big surprise for us. Right from the jump, Logan plans to take out Gerri and Cyd, and that all in one day. Tom foreshadows the ridiculous amount of stress and the opening credits start rolling ominously.

Kendall, Shiv and Roman attend Connor and Willa's wedding. But a serious call comes in. Logan is in a precarious situation and eventually dies. It was surreal all the way throughout, like the audience was thrusted in a blur, a fog. The directing was phenomenal and you were following the characters left and right and trying to grasp your breath. I felt my mind just being, being numb and just watching and following the story like I was one of the characters. And the audience was left there to process and keep processing.

There was a phenomenal amount of details in everybody's acting. The pure shock and emotion. And it's like that at first. I guess death just happens. No warning call, nothing. And then there is denial. Trying to understand what happened. Did it happen? Was someone there to confirm ? A doctor maybe to look ? No ? The news then get involved and the storm gets tumultuous. And you're still trying to catch your breath with the Roy siblings. But you have to get a statement out. But did it happen ? We have to keep a strategy right though, because we want to keep some power and chances for the succession... It becomes messy.

There is no word truly to describe this episode and the tremendous impact it will leave. It's like three episodes ago Logan was planning a merger of equals and Tom and Greg were making a pact with the devil. But none of that really matters now. The board just imploded. And we have to get back on track and obtain a new sense of what is going on, which seems to go in a really interesting direction according to the previews and trailers.

I don't think one can describe the tension as our hearts sunk as the call happened. It is a visceral feeling and what an experience it is. And I found myself questioning if it was a prank or a mean strategy from Logan. But you quickly find out no play is being made. It's just a boat sinking and crashing into an iceberg. The call is a phenomenal scene, but it doesn't stop there, no. Because your senses are put into alert mode the whole episode after that. Because you are still processing.

The writing is unmatched. The show is crossing Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul levels right now. I guess it's another HBO Wedding after all !

Tension runs high everywhere. Connor and Willa are all over the place and dealing with strong feelings, as the Siblings come in for the rehearsal. A lot of questions are brought concerning the wedding and whether it'll happen in the first place.

Logan envisions Kerry in a News position, but she messes up a lot and Greg gets the infamous task of telling her they won't continue with her. He finds himself in a position of power, for once, which is so thrilling to watch unfold. Logan gives a hell of a speech on the ATN floor, and Brian Cox has one of his best scenes yet, which says a lot. The chilling speech carry through to the helicopter scene and Shiv has some ideas of her own.

Sandi and Stewy are available for a potential deal, but that wouldn't be great for Logan, who tries approaching his children. The whole atmosphere is already loud because of Willa being missing and Connor being stressed, but a meeting happens. I don't know if there was an ounce of truth under it all for the apology, but the manipulation seems to be in effect regardless. Shiv and Kendall see the subterfuge, but as it is a really important situation for Logan, he lashes out and states there is a lack of seriousness, which catches Roman's ear.

And Logan needs Roman now. The wedding is about to take place, and the cards are on the table for a lot of power dynamics in the next episode. The hype is certainly immense at this point, because HBO's weddings make for some particularly spectacular television. Rehearsal is more than solid in its own right. The music is bombastic and phenomenal in this episode and the writing shines more than ever. There is so much at play. The company is on the line, Matsson on the other side. Some family issues in the mix, and deeply scarred people. Season 4 is off to Succession's best start yet.
